The course refreshes the knowledge in the RQF syllabus. This keeps your staff mentally equipped to deal with a first aid emergency at work situation such as, the need to give CPR, deal with a major injury or accident and hand over to the emergency services at the appropriate time. This RQF accredited level 3 course in emergency first aid at work, gives candidates the knowledge and ability to deal with emergency first aid situations.
An employer needs to make an assessment of their first-aid needs to establish what provision for first aid is required in the work place.
If first-aiders are needed in your workplace, the employer must ensure they are trained by a competent company. This course satisfies the criteria set by HSE in terms of competence.

Course Syllabus:
*Fire risk assessment. *Fire chemistry. *Basic fire extinguisher awareness.... *Common fire hazards. *Fire safety precautions. *Fire drills and evacuation. *The role of the marshal. *Fire marshal action on discovering a fire.
Course length: 7 hrs.
Qualification achieved: Attendance certificate.
Cost: £40 per person + VAT on open courses.
£40 per person + VAT (min charge of £240 + VAT) for in-house courses.
We can run courses in house or at our training centres in Lincoln and Grimsby. We also run open courses for individuals or business needing to train single employees.

My husband does not always engage easily with things but he said afterwards how much he had taken on board that he hadn't begun to think about. I did my FAW lvl 3 with Singletons at their Grimsby site.I learnt a great deal and thoroughly enjoyed the course. The trainer was very friendly and made the course fun which I thinks helps a lot. I always recommend Singletons to my friends who are looking for first aid or health and safety training.
