The Herrenknecht AG VSM is now ready to make the journey from Germany to Woodsmith Mine where it will excavate the MTS shaft to 120m.

Sirrus Minerals is a great company who has brought massive opportunity to my local area with its York Potash project.

Sirius had the potential to change the world for the better, provide increased food security, help to create the "Northern Powerhouse", and positively reduce the UK's trade deficit by an astonishing 4%..,but not immediately. There is a long lead time folks.

I’ve invested. I like the idea of local jobs for local people.

I believe polyhalite is not a new product. In the 1930s it was available to UK farmers, it was a very successful product vastly increasing crop yields however in that time deposits that had been discovered were uneconomic to mine. Woodsmith mine has huge economically viable deposits and I see no reason why this cannot benefit agriculture worldwide medium and longterm.

Been working on the site 3 days now and loving every minute of it plenty of local lads been employed nice to see a company that is true to its word.

Very good investment in the long run plus good for the planet .Tees area needs this kind of employment it will help our local airport for workers cumming in instead of going out to work.
