We have been accepted on to this project and will be training Riggs our Czech wolf dog boy to become operational on scent specific mantrailing.
This project is going to fund and bring world class training, equipment, aid for insurance/food and much more.
Cannot thank them enough for all the help this will provide in training the dogs to be a valuable resource in saving people who can’t find their way back.... We have been working for over two years on our ability to work as a team and help people with our training. I honestly cannot wait to hopefully put this training to use and be there for the people that need it.

This is a Czechoslovakian Wolfdog called Rain. Lovely dog with bags of personality. With an unexpected shift in his owners work situation this lovely lady took him on and has brought him to us to explore his aptitude for scent specific mantrailing for people. He had a session of exploring detection and mantrailing last week and detection seemed to bore him completely. When it can to mantrailing however, as expected with this breed, he loved it. Yesterday was his second session and he nailed it. Some real potential with the lovely boy so excited to seem him progress.

Bambi is a lovely tempered girl rescued from Romania and is looking to build confidence, motivation and potentially see how she does with mantrailing.
We have had our first session and she’s started brilliantly! Very much looking forward to seeing this sweet girl develop.

What do our mantrailing friends think of this? Seem slots of contamination and no article. Was there proof the worker was the one responsible? Did the dog just like the scent of that worker for some reason? Was the dog trailing that person or has the dog learnt to trail scent disturbance from dead foliage on a footstep? Lots of questions to ask and learning to get from this I think.
On face value quite impressive no???

These photos show a very special day for me.
This was the first proper ‘trek’ I entered into with any significant distance. My first taste of ‘actually working’ this breed of dog. I hold it as one of the most enjoyable days I have ever spent out on a Rig. The dogs didn’t miss a beat and I learnt so much. Like don’t stand next to Angel with a cheese pastry roll in your hand at hip height because she will liberate it! 😂
I was fortunate to have in my team Father - Napu, Moth...er - Angel, Daughter - Castiel and Daughter/Sister - Taala.
As I said a really special team to be behind. Please take a minute to remember Napu. He passed away recently. I can’t capture him in words here so I won’t try. Those that met him know how special he was. I feel blessed I met him and spent some time with him. My heart goes out to his owner and my breeder Racheal and the rest of her family. There just aren’t the words. Xxx

So having been in to the vets today and had his operation he’s back from the Vet having been drugged up, cleaned up and stitched up. He’s flicking between feeling sleepy and longing to go back out in the kennels with the others I think. Love this little sh1t and glad he’s back. Nothing serious and he’s on the mend.
