Disgusting customer service, scamming customers & insurance companies alike?
You should look at other review sites, as many warnings exist of what you can expect.
This hire ended with 2 staff chasing me down the street shouting & threatening police-I wish i'd called the police myself!
We hired the car for 3 days family camping. We arrived exhausted from Devon via the M25 a little later than planned. Rather than phone, I called in in person @17:50 10 minutes inside the contract period as courtesy to arrange extra time to get the 4 passengers and equipment home.
They needed the car returned for a next day hire (fair enough) so I said I could get it to them by 8:00am cleaned etc. They demanded a full days' payment so i said fine, on that basis i'll see you at 6pm tomorrow & returned to the car. They ran down the street, threatening to report it stolen, & told us if we all got out the contract would be over. So we 4 were left outside napier road with tents etc on the pavement. BVRLA? Complaint coming. Chargebacks? -if necessary.

Good staff they work hard to get it right for you. I used them a couple of times and was very happy with them

I recently rented a car at the Bromley South branch that was booked online and my experience was very positive. The staff were professional and the process was both quick & efficient, which enabled me to collect and leave with the vehicle with a minimum amount of fuss. Thank you

I'm generally unflappable amid the chaos of a Saturday morning van rental shop. However these guys were simply not prepared and seemed generally miserable about their lot in life. The guy checking people in behind the desk (the only one) was having talking to each customer in a rather condescending tone, and having dig at each person who didn't understand the procedure. The only one customer that was unscathed by the end was then told (at 9am) his vehicle wouldn't be ready until 1030 as the previous customer hadn't yet returned it. This guy needed to return the vehicle before they closed at 12 pm (on a Saturday let me remind you). I felt sorry for the guy as he had now paid and had no choice but to wait.
