I don't think I have ever had such a Friendly and helpful agent as I had here.

The service was excellent, efficient, friendly and helpful. They even carried the car seat to the car, fitted it, and helped us with the straps.

Spent ten days in Cornwall. All went well with Sixt in Stansted. Nice Agent. Good car. Thx.

I booked a flight and car hire via Ryanair. The car hire was subcontracted to Sixt. The Ryanair flight was delayed by 5 hours and when I presented my documentation to the Sixt desk, they said that my car had been reallocated as Ryanair contracts expire 1 hour after the "scheduled" arrival time - even if it was Ryanair fault!!
Juan Munos (the Sixt desk agent) apologised for the problem and understood that we just wanted this sorted out and to get on our way. He even tried to find a tel number for Ryanair to no avail. At this stage I was fuming but he kept calm and explained what options we had. He issued us with an upgrade at a discounted price. I have nothing but praise for this young man and I said this to his manager when we returned the car.
A lesson learnt! I will book with the company direct next time.

Superb team that understands what a customer relationship is; and what 'the extra mile' is. I can't fault them. I will return again and again.

My wife and I hired a sixt car for a small break in the UK.
On September 8th, as scheduled, we returned our car - entirely free of any damage. It was inspected by a member of staff, and we were told all was well and that we could leave.
4 days later, on September 12th, we received an email (some 90 minutes after receiving a "please fill in our survey" email) - "Unfortunately we must inform you that we have discovered new damage on the return of the vehicle at the rental location" - no additional information, no official "report" of any kind, no pictures of the alleged damage. We were asked to complete an online form including such questions as "...following the incident, were the police called...", "Were there any witnesses to the incident...", "Was anyone else involved in the incident...".
We received an automated response including ... "In the following we will look into this matter and if necessary get back to you" (yes, that is a direct quote).
We heard nothing. We had no idea of a timeframe for resolution and, until we would receive a credit card statement in about 6 weeks, no idea of where we stood.
14 days later I chased them - an automatic reponse saying they would deal with my query "...may take up to 10 working days".
Finally, on October 3rd - "Please be advised the claim has been closed down with no payments due".
No apology for the 3 weeks of worry they'd inflicted upon us with what, as far as i can tell, was a bogus claim.
Seriously, after 4 days sitting in their car park, or rented to someone else, how can they even think of chasing us for "damage".
Never again with these people.
