Last night a prestigious event took place which brought together celebrities, politicians and most importantly, restaurateurs. The British Kebab Awards is a glittery occasion with highly sought after awards which kebab chefs have fought for since 2012. It was a calm evening outside but in the Park Plaza, Westminster, the anticipation was climbin...g and rumours of who the victors might be grew from ripples to raucous waves in the minds of every nominee.
Of course, the Skewd team was in attendance and as we’ve stated before, we prefer standing on stage to sitting in the crowd. We were delighted when our name was announced as the winner of the Fine Dining award! Having another trophy to add to our collection is a testament to two crucial components of our story. We had a lovely meal here today and have to say the food was amazing. We have been to many Turkish restaurants around London but we was pleasantly surprised how good the food was and elegantly presented, with just the right amounts of everything. Meat was so fresh and soft, salad was just perfect and a lovely classy atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again - 5����� �xxx

This place is incredible! The attention to detail will impress you, the service is impeccable and the food is so fresh and to die for! The drinks are also amazing! Can't express how great this place is :)! Will definitely be coming back!

This place is fabulous. We went for lunch today. We had Hummus Kavurma and Sujuk for starters and Chicken Shish for mains. They were all totally delicious. The waiting staff were lovely and the atmosphere was friendly. I would definitely recommend this place and will certainly be returning. Well deserved 5* experience.

The food was excellent, staff a bit forgetful with bringing our drinks but it was a busy Saturday night. The only little gripe is they ram in too many tables so all a bit on top of each other, but will definitely go back

The food is delicious and of such high quality. I had the octopus and scallops and they just melted in mouth. Waited a while for the main, even though they do have lots of staff working but was worth the wait. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming again soon.

The food in this place is off the chart and the menu offers so much choice, you must try if you like good food!! Planning our next visit already.

Had an early dinner here as part of our anniversary celebrations - both the food and service were excellent. Really good quality food, decent portion sizes; the complimentary dessert at the end was wonderful (walnut pudding) and we loved the balloon bread at the start. The managers were really lovely and friendly too. Highly recommend. We will definitely return for more.

Great service, nice restaurant and open kitchen so you can watch the chef's. We had a selection of hot Meze as a starter which were very tasty and the mains included a chicken dish, lamb kofta on a special bread, peedeh cooked in the open fire oven. Mains were served with shepherds salad that had a lovely pomegranate molasses dressing. We were too full to sample the desserts. We will definitely go again

Gosh what an amazing eatery! Such a pleasant friendly restaurant. Vibrant colours and vibrant food. I had the Lamb's Liver followed by the Ocean Kebab. Was to die for!

Excellent food, excellent service. Out of all the Turkish restaurants I have eaten in-and there are a lot round here-it is by far the best! Food is succulent and the presentation exquisite!!!

Dropped in for an impromptu meal,really lovely food and staff. Would highly recommend especially the lamb and the blueberry cheesecake ( my daughter was given a complimentary cheesecake as it was her birthday next week - lovely gesture) will definitely go back.

Was taken there by my son for mother's day. Despite a mix up on table booking times, we were looked after from the moment we arrived, given free drinks for the inconvenience of having to wait. Howeyonce the food arrived it was heaven, one of the best, delicious, tasty, well spiced, good portions & fabulous atmosphere & very friedly staff. We will be back. Highly recommend 😊

The food is always good. Can't complain in regard to freshness and taste. My only gripe would be the fact that after spending over £100 on lunch you would expect a gesture of fruit, tea or even a little baklava once your meal is finished. Most other Turkish restaurants offer this even when you spend less. Just a thought. Other than that defo will be returning

Its alright very average food for what you pay. Nothing special. Staff need to be taught some manners though. Rubbish clumsy waitresses who drop food and spill drinks
