Last year we had all the way from Brazil Sindicato Oi! and next year we will have all the way from Tokyo 69Yobsters. I really love the way the /skinhead culture has travelled worldwide. i remember in the 80's never having money to buy ska records up Camden and being annoyed by the fact Japanese would buy the whole box and take them out of the country, but here we are bringing some of that back home with a Japanese band from Tokjo and their ska sounds, this is something i am very excited to see live at the Skinhead Reunion 2019. something very different

Neville staple playing live in brighton 7th sept at Concorde 2 taking me back to when it all began. The specials caused a musical revolution in the uk. Kids from every council estate caught the bug and filled the dancehalls, 40 years later, it’s still as powerful

See you all in Bicester for the legend of symarip, pyramids

The great skinhead reunion is the largest gathering of skinheads on the planet, a worldwide event to celebrate the full real history of skinhead, from the birth in England with reggae, to a worldwide fashion subculture. we play music from the early days of reggae and ska on hyper rare vinyl, to modern bands playing the full history, through bootboy, punk, ska and oi. starting in 2011, this event has become world famous, everyone is invited, you dont need to be a skinhead. famillies are welcome until 9.30pm. when licence carries us through as adults only until 2am each night, from noon. full line up of entertainment will be added, running up to the event

We only went there on Sunday for a little taster as we’ve never been before... Wow what a Atmosphere people were so friendly and welcoming! And thank you Tony & Carmel for your advice and support 😘 we will definitely be back for 50th Anniversary 😘😘😘

User

We did Friday till Monday, absolute top weekend, going Thursday next year, waiting for dates to be released to book in advance. Top people, top bands, top venue, very well organised.

Sounding like a broken record now, LOL! But here we go - went in 2016 in a wheelchair, heavily medicated & not knowing what to expect. It was a brilliant experience, everyone helpful and friendly. Promised myself I wouldn't miss the next. Sure enough - this year's Reunion 2017 was even better. Granted, being able to walk about & not being medicated helped! LMAO! Picked up with friends from last year's shindig as if no time had passed at all. Just amazing. DJ's are great & live acts equally enjoyable.

User

Really friendly Reunion...

Lot of old skins, great music, a place to go if you're into the skinhead movement !!

User

User

My first Reunion and what a great day....shame i had to leave early but rest assured i will be there in the future!! Well organised and a great friendly atmosphere killing the myth that Skinheads are racist thugs eh !!

User

Me and my boyfriend went for the first time in the reunion and it was perfect. Everyone was so friendly and welcomed us like a family. Symond and the rest of the crew was amazing, just like the security. A lot of interesting people, great music to dance, cheap beers, food and clothing. A very nice venue by the beach with good sound and brighton generally is a place worth visiting. See you next year.

Oi! from Athens!

User

Love the reunion meeting new people and having a laugh and good memories :)

User

Last minute drive down for the Saturday and it was well worth it

User

I wasn't originally planning on going the great skinhead reunion, but my dad offered me his ticket to go along and I have to say it's one of the best experiences I have ever had! Met some amazing people and I had a right laugh with everyone there! I felt really welcome! Amazing music and beer! Can't wait for the next one!

User

I had two fantastic days! Breaking my arm didn't matter at all heh

User

Had a great couple of days. Weather was great Saturday and Sunday. Nice people. Bands were good although personally I'm not keen on Oi! or The Jam. But a lot of people do.

I'd have prefered to have heard more old school Trojan bluebeat and ska but again everyone has different likes and dislikes.

I will definitely be coming back another year as I was made to feel really welcome.

User

Had a absolutely brilliant day really didn't want to leave definitely going to do the weekend next year the terrace looked very intimidating to be honest but when we entered we were made to fill very welcome and at no stage fill any threat there were skinheads from all over the country and world like Italy and France I felt a sense of belonging and pleased I decided to go along for the first time

User

Great venue close to an abundance of hotels and bedsits.

Staff and security at the event were superb as well as friendly.

The beer and food were actually spot on and good value for the location.

Honest the breakfast and burgers were blinding.

The punters ranged from freshcuts to veterans of the scene.

Was great to see that during the day and early evening children were welcome and also having a great time lapping up the attention.

I have missed previous events due to clash with family holiday but this year 2017 I had free diary slot so headed to Brighton.

A fantastic lineup this year and my fave choice of music being Oi and Streetpunk was well and truly covered.

I am not a great lover of ska but the way the DJ's and bands were arranged was spot on and all the punters were satisfied with the selection.

The venue is small in comparison to many but as any veteran punk/oiboy will tell you this makes for a cracking gig with 'close up' band performances creating one sweaty, energetic pit that most of us love.

I have been in the scene for 35 years and it was great to see so many people I havent seen for years.

Absolutely cracking atmosphere and next year I am hoping to bring along my missus and young lad.
