The staff are polite and helpful. They will give advice where needed. They have a good range of clothes and a good range of bikes whatever your taste / discipline.

Great service, great price. Dropped two bikes off for work to be done. One back within 4 hours the other within 24H.

Excellent service again from Skinnergate, they managed to fix my gear problems with a simple wiggle of the derailleur but they were clear about how much it would cost if it needed to be replaced and how long it would take

Poor customer service. When asked if they had tubless valves was greeted with a blank look. They did have them but no rim tape and £14.99 compared to £8.99 online I don't mind paying a bit extra but the shop is a joke. Very unfriendly.

Not too great. Dropped my bike off Monday morning and told I would get a call. I was told they only had 1 mechanic and loads of jobs which I can appreciate happens, but the problem for me was that I rang each day to see if I could pick up and they told me the mechanic was working on it at that moment where in fact it had not even been started (I would have accepted honesty better than lies) I called in on Thursday and told it was next in line and would be done by the end of the day. I gave them the benefit and called in Friday afternoon to be told it had still not been touched. I took my bike home there and then.....untouched!! The only reason I wrote this review is because I was lied to on all 3 occasions I got in touch with them!!

The other day I was there at the shop the service was terrible the guy in shop said he will fix my bike and it will be perfect I spend around 50 pound and I get terrible service andmy bike wwasn't working the service was really slow it was delayed like by a week I would not recommend this shop at all save your money and go somewhere else like and get better service.

I recently purchased a brand spanking Cube Agree Pro road bike from the guys at Skinnergate and I've been massively impressed with the service I've received to date. A couple of niggly little issues with the frame as it's a new Cube model that have been ironed out quickly. Very happy to spend my money here instead of a faceless online retailer!

Visited today for the first time after finding Halfords very unhelpful. Found the staff very helpful and would highly recommend to anyone looking at getting a bike or accessories.

Very poor service taking over 3 weeks to true a wheel, when i got it back it was still not true. When I went to collect the wheel in I was told that I had to leave a £3500 mtb outside the shop as they wouldn't allow customers bikes inside, when I pointed out how expensive it was a woman came out and shouted at me. Not exactly customer friendly. this was the last time I will use the shop and I hope they go bankrupt.
