ADVERSE/SEVERE WEATHER CONDITIONS. Following on from our previous post ref Awnings etc.
We are strongly advising our Seasonal Touring Caravan owners to come to their Caravans to take down their Awnings. The weather forecast for the next few weeks show further strong winds will be approaching the UK from the Atlantic. We are contacting owners each and every time we receive information regarding loose and unstable Awnings.

ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS.
Due to the severe weather conditions we are experiencing at the moment and with the forecast over the next few days for the wind to increase in strength, we would strongly advise that all our Seasonal Tourers' owners please come and check the security of their awnings etc. We have already contacted several owners where their awning has unfortunately blown down.

Just to confirm that the new Defibrillator Cabinet on the Sales Office wall is now fully registered with the Yorkshire Ambulance Service. In the case of emergency please dial 999 and request Ambulance/Medical help. The operators will request information and if they deem that a defibrillator is required please quote them the location reference NCPAD 843 which is on the front of the cabinet. They will then give the access code to open the Cabinet. The Defibrillator itself is a fully automatic model and the instructions will be given by the emergency staff. Here's hoping we never need it.

We are pleased to advise that our new Defibillator is now installed on our Sales Office exterior wall. The defibrillator itself has been activated but will not be updated on the NHS database until this friday. Until then if there is an emergency please call Paul Yates on 07818 460790, Jim Brooks on 07585 707257 or anyone in Reception for the access code to the cabinet.

Main electrical DU unit to Seasonal Touring pitches has suffered damage overnight. Electricians are on site and are dealing with the major outage issue. We have been advised that they expect all to be sorted by teatime today. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused during this time. If you have any queries or concerns please contact reception who will be able to advise the current situation.

SEVERE WEATHER CONDITIONS
We wish to advise all our owners and visitors that due to the extreme weather conditions we are experiencing severe problems with water pipes freezing. This is something that is totally beyond our control. Therefore it is probably advisable not to visit or use your Holiday home until the temperatures return to something like normal. This of course is totally at the owner's discretion but we must re-confirm nothing can be done about the frozen water pipes until the severe weather subsides. Thank you for your understanding.

While we where at Skirlington this weekend, my Grandson put his black Adidas bag with his black I phone 5 in it on the floor next to him where he was playing, he could have walked away and forgot it or someone stole it, I rang it to check he was ok as he is only 8yrs old, someone answered but just laughed then turned it off, he only just got the fone in June for his birthday, I am hoping some parent is honest and makes then hand it in to reception or at The Towbar, we are there every weekend.. so plz share and help get his fone back..

We stayed in the 6 weeks holiday for a week kids loved it staff very friendly lifeguards are great the children entertainer was great shame she was by herself but she managed very well arcades are great as all just coppers to play on we did have a issue with some older boys who didn't belong on the site and were playing rugby near the play area the ball hit my 8 year old and spilt his head reception took details but felt nothing was done also the staff in the shop will tell you not to go to the American diner but don't listen cause the American diner is lovely and you get plenty .wrestling is great we will be returning hopefully next Easter once we can book with them in January would recommend the markets and meat man great bargains

We bought our first static caravan on Skirlington Leisure Park in 2002 after holidaying there for quite a few years in our tourer. We are now on our 4th static caravan and we still absolutely love it there. Our children are now adults but they still enjoy Skirlington along with their partners. The site has improved over the years. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. The facilities are very good and the site is in a very good location with plenty of places nearby to visit. We are looking forwards to spending our weekends and holidays there again this year and visiting the Cowshed for good food and drink and a very friendly atmosphere.

Second holiday here and still as great as last time. Love the food in the cowshed and Hollywood diner.

Roll on March. So miss this place. Been on this site since August my grandsons love it. Made some wonderfull friends on skirlington. Very clean friendly site best I've ever been to in 25 years of caravan ing

Our first time staying at the park after many visits to the market at it won't be the last. Had an amazing time whilst there and loved the relaxed atmosphere whilst wandering around. The staff at the Hollywood diner deserve a medal as there are about 3 people catering for three different areas and although we had over an hours wait for food it wasn't too bad as the entertainment passed the time. The only thing I would say is that the stardust lounge could be better advertised as we missed a great performance on Friday due to not realising it was behind the bar. Entertainment whilst we were there was superb.

Our favourite place been everywhere love it here , fantastic walk for dogs, granddaughter loves kid's room and entertainment we love bands bingo food brilliant xxx

My hubby and I go with the dog for weekends, often. We sometimes take our 4 yr old Grandson. We LOVE it! Indoor pool great with kiddies for a swim or splash about. Sunday market and car boot are brilliant for bargains. A short stroll to the Beach and a short ride to Hornsea and other places. All staff are friendly and very helpful. Shower and toilet blocks always clean. Lots of amusement for kids and great bars. Love the Cowshed!

Just had 2 weeks here and didn't want to leave. We love it here. Will definitely be returning. Kids loved kids club. Sam does a great job keeping kids entertained. Lady on golf buggy that helped us pitch caravan was a great help too. Site is well looked after. grass was always cut nice and bins were always emptied. Kids loved pool and the wrestling was the highlight of the holiday. Thanks for a great holiday.

Just got back from a fantastic weekend with family. Caravan was beautiful and very dog friendly.

Everything all in one place my kids love it and not far from the beach too my kids never want to leave we were only here for day visiting friends but it was so friendly and welcoming defiantly be back x

been on site for over 14 years love the site but lately we're getting taken over by kids with segways and go cart type extentions you take your life in your hands just going for a walk i know kids need to play but its gonna take a nasty accident before something is done .

Park on the whole was good, one or 2 staff members in the arcade/shop area needs to sort their attitude out.



Kids entertainment was really good however the room were it takes place could really use some air conditioning.



Arcades need major investment.

Only stayed for the weekend but me and the kids had a great time the park is very clean and tidy it only a hop skip to the beach The caravan we stayed in the Windsor was fantastic very nice and modern kids entertainment was fantastic entertainment for the adults was great as well staff was very nice and helpful The market on the Sunday and car boot sale was a nice day out but the only down part about skirlington was the Wi-Fi signal is very very poor I had to go to the bar or the swimming pool to get a good signal

. Lots of happy memories here over the last 15 years excited to bring my 5 year old great niece. Here early July it's lovely and quiet. Would like to see more food options available though. Beautiful site and everyone is so friendly. Here to at least another 15 years of visiting this site.

The kids entertainment has really gone down hill since when i was a kid everything else is ok nice and clean showers well maintainted site its jus the kids entertainment

Just returning home from a disappointing weekend. Was here back in April and the kids entertainment was fantastic (mother and daughter entertainers). This weekend the new entertainment didn't start until nearly 8 o clock it consisted of 2 hours of face painting then the kids enjoyed one party dance before the bingo sales started. Again both entertainers selling tickets instead of one of them ENTERTAINING the kids. My daughter has always enjoyed coming here with her grandparents and she asked to go back to the caravan as she was bored. Kids were just running riot as they had to entertain themselves. All in all the entertainers weren't entertaining at all.
