Skopos Translations Description

Hi! It's Joanna Stefańska. I run Skopos Translations.

I am an English to Polish translator since 2006, specialised in translating medical (human and veterinary), pharmaceutical and other life science-related texts with a focus on translating:

• regulatory affairs documents
• product information (summaries of product characteristics - SPCs, patient information leaflets - PILs, labelling texts, instructions for use - IFUs)
• clinical trial documentation (consent forms, investigator manuals, correspondence)
• medical device documentation
• medical marketing materials, such us brochures, catalogues and questionnaires

for both businesses and individuals.

Occasionally, I translate technical texts (IT, website, software-related). If you need something else, please get in touch. I may be able to refer a colleague.

I also offer proofreading, website, software & SEO localisation services, along with keywords research, PPC translation, metadata optimisation and optimised translation of web pages.

I use computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools for improved speed, consistency, and organisation. I am a proficient and regular user of SDL Trados, but I am also familiar with other CAT tools.

I am technology-savvy and committed to continuing professional development.
