What you have here are the 6 family members who currently work at Slater's with our founder Ralph's portrait hanging in the background.
In 1973 the original Slater's was devastated by a fire, and Ralph had to take the brave step to start the business from scratch. This was when the company took its first steps into retail.
... With the success of their retail side the choice was made to fully move away from the manufacturing side and devote the business to retail only - this brought about the Slaters we have today with our 25 stores across the UK.
The company is currently in the very safe hands of Ralph's son - Managing Director Paul Slater, closely supported by his sister Susan who oversees the online and marketing operations (both featured in the middle of this picture).
With around 800 employees, Slater Menswear is a metropolitan mixture of many characters. Women and men of all ages and backgrounds create the vibrant team that makes Slater Menswear the UK’s favourite menswear retailer!
