**WORLD CLASS GUITARIST HEADS TO HULL MINSTER** Luca Stricagnoli is heading back to Hull for a unique performance at Hull Minster on Tuesday, October 9th. Playing up to five guitars at once, the Italian-born musical innovator will take to the stage as part of his What If? World Tour. Luca will be joined by his singer, songwriter and musician girlfriend, Meg Pfeiffer, with support from soul, chillout, hip-hop inspired four-piece The Broken Orchestra, and Manchester-based percussive acoustic guitarist Jamie Ferguson. What seems like a lifetime ago, a brother and sister came into Slave to the Beat with their mum & dad to ask about music lessons. This beautiful family became shop ambassadors and lifelong dear friends of ours. Both Ed & Jess are an absolute credit to Guy & Jayne. Now, Ed & his band Carnival Club are sharing the bill with some amazing acts both new & old. We couldn’t be more proud!

A big well done to two of our Monday evening students who scored big in their recent drum grading exams.
Charlie undertook grade one and received a distinction with a briliant 91/100 score.
... Jack undertook his grade two exam and also received a distinction with an amazing score of 97/100.
Well done to all involved! Hard work pays off.
