Went to Sleepers Bar yesterday evening. Had a pint and the most delicious burger I have had in a long while. A bit expensive in my opinion but very worth it. I was also impressed by the staff, specifically Kiran who appeared to be a trainee on his first day. He asked me if the food was OK and if I wanted any sauces, which is rare nowadays. Strong 5 stars from me. You won't regret visiting this place!

Visited with a group of friends. It was a good job we'd booked the table as the place became really busy. Great choice of meals & drinks. The pepper chicken was delicious, shame I was so full to not have room for a dessert 😂

I went for my birthday meal with 11 other guests. Service was great and food was delicious. All my friends were happy with there meals too. � x

First time visiting last night the 4/5/18 for sister birthday. We had a shared nacho dish and olives with bread. Main meals Med chicken, Fish and chips BBQ chicken burger, two steaks ,Linguini and moussaka. All tasty and piping hot. Duff ( pudding) pistachio cheese cake, Brownie, and two salted caramel to say you had 7 very happy full and satisfied people would be an understatement. Thank you we will be back.

Another wonderful meal today. Lasagne as always, and great on the 2 for £12 deal. Lots of yummy meals, great price

4 of us went for a meal sunday.. had the duck for a starter. lovely.. had beef wellington for main .. what a great choice.. brilliant meal service and friendliness of staff superb. can highly recommend we had a great night thanks

Went with my partner yesterday, had a change, got Mediterranean chicken, gorgeous, couldn't fault it, but my partner had roast beef dinner, it was ok apart from beef wasn't up to much, very thin stringy slices, a bit fatty. Loved the chunky chips.

Went for my birthday and the food and service was really good . The staff where really helpful and made the evening for us. 14 of us ordered and all of us enjoyed it.

Had a very nice chicken kabab very filling .food is a little slow to come out but was worth the wait had my daughter with me who had the pepper chicken she was happy with it . Only gripe would be the price of soft drinks 1coke 1 lime with water .£4.00 �

Great food, awesome friendly service. We ordered just after a large table, so clearly the kitchen got slammed, but te food came super fast.



The only reason I didn't give 5stars was because of your lack of public wifi, i'm sure we would have stayed longer and had more drinks if you had.

Used to be a big fan of sleepers but really felt the customer service was a let down this evening. I ordered something from the menu with one less ingredient but was actually then charged nearly £3 extra for cheese which was included anyway. When the meal came the cheese was a basic cheese slice so I queried this. Was given a £2 refund as apparently I had asked for extra cheese which wasn’t the case. All the time we were been served the waitress was looking around and not really paying attention and wasn’t confident pouting a shandy and was quite vocal about it. Nothing terrible I know but just left us disappointed and not really wanting to rush back

Unfortunately our experience wasn’t great, usually service is good and food lovely but we definitely can’t say the same for last night. We were celebrating my sons birthday. Service was very slow, arrived at 1820 ordered 10 minutes later, it was 45 minutes by the time our starters came out. Garlic mushrooms came out looking like lumpy mushroom soup, garlic prawns were disappointing, there were far too many onions and huge lumps of garlic in the bowl and only 4 prawns in each portion. Another 45 minutes later we had to ask our waitress how much longer our mains would be, I can can only describe her reaction as clueless. 5 minutes later she came back to ask how we’d like the 2 steaks which had been ordered cooking......at 2025 our mains arrived!! the different cuts of steak had been mixed up and cooked incorrectly, my lasagne looked charred but I thought it would just be the edges, waited for it to cool enough to tuck into but unfortunately it was black the whole way through and inedible, none of the waiting staff where anywhere to be seen so I ended up having to go to the bar to speak to someone about it. The manager came over to the table and offered a replacement but by this time the rest of the party had finished their meals so he refunded my meal off the bill. Not a great experience it marred birthday boys evening and i went home hungry. With so much competition it will be a very long time before we consider returning �

Good OK and tasty, portion sizes are a bit on the tight side, 4 chips ffs!!! Should come with a starvation warning, wanted to go for a takeaway after but wasn't allowed... �

And sort your loos out, shabby doors that need a clean and coat of paint and the gents could do with a regular clean, pools of pee below the urinal isn't great for the appetite!!! Bar prices could be a bit more competitive £24 for 3 pints, a shandy and 2 cokes.. Ouch

Nice beer but wouldn't let us swap out chips for a small salad. We left after we finished our drinks.

Me, my partner and mum in law ate out at sleepers today, a very regular occurrence for us but today i left beyond disappointed, i ordered my main along with a side of halloumi cheese, which to my shock was brought over consisting of 4 slithers, i couldn't beleive how thinly sliced it was when not so long ago you'd of been served with 4 pieces roughly the size of a chunky chip, and at £6.50 a portion i was almost angry by how much the portion had been cut down, i did mention it to the guy who brought the food over who i believe to be the owner who did stand and listen but only because he had to but had a very much couldn't care less look across his face, not the best customer service lets be honest! All in all, its very disappointing that sleepers seem to be going the same way as a lot of other places, prices going up and portions going down, why ruin a lovely place with usually great food with greediness??!

It's been a while since I was last in and I have to say the food wasn't as good as it normally is. Whether it's down to the time of year or not I'm not sure but it has certainly been better in the past
