Once upon a time, we were simply The Bedding Company. We offered a wide range of bedding and were popular with lots of people. Then our customers began to tell us that they wanted more…
More choice, more products, and more hints about how to make your bedtime the best it can possibly be. That's why we're now Sleepy People, offering the widest possible spread of British-made bedding from the very finest brands - and all delivered direct to your home.
Just as importantly, because we know how important your sleep is, we've made it easier than ever to find the right choices for you. So our site now talks tog values and finds the right fillings when you're looking for duvets, and suggests firm favourites or softer styles when you need pillows or a mattress.
In fact, we've made it so easy, you could probably shop with us in your sleep.
We love hearing your feedback and thoughts on our page, but we do have a few important house rules to help keep everyone happy.

Purchased an egyptian cotton duvet from the silent night luxury collection. It came with free delivery and was here within the time given. Good quality product and the cheapest I could find at this level of quality. Would recommend this company.
Purchased a KS duvet and was by far the best value online. I then saw some of the negative reviews and was a little worried but the duvet was delivered today, 3rd working day after I ordered it, perfect condition and exactly as described. Really happy and would definitely use this company again.

I ordered a pair of pillows and a pair of Egyptian Cotton pillow protectors. Pillows were ok. I have been looking for cotton pillow protectors and could only find polyester,microfibre or mixed fibres.These pillow protectors were brilliant,excellent quality. They feel cool to the touch,are 100% percale cotton and are lightly padded too.
What a surprise some bad reviews already. I can't fault them for their speed of delivery but I accidentally ordered the wrong size and tried to change my order the next day only to be told - sorry it's too late you will have to refuse delivery. It was left on my doorstep so I couldn't refuse delivery and the only way to return it is to pay myself for it to get sent back with no refund of my return or the previous delivery charge. I think that is appalling customer service for an internet based company. I don't know of any other company that doesn't pick up your order or swap your order if incorrect. I'm now left with a mattress topper that doesn't fit my bed or return it for £10 plus the previous charge of £5! I Can buy another cheap one for that price!! I will not be using them again or recommending. Sarcasm on the phone is not very professional either. No solutions or compromise at all.

My sheets arrived with one that was already used and soiled. Unfortunately, the second one had already been washed before I discovered the stain on the remaining sheet.
Sleepy people refused to refund me because I had washed one if the sheets. Ridiculous considering they sent me a used dirty sheet!
TERRIBLE! This copy procrastinated for a week when I requested a reply-paid label to return "not as described" and seriously substandard Ultrabounce Pillows. Then they lied to Paypal saying I had refused to return the items and also tried to BRIBE me saying if I changed my reviews to good ones, they would refund me. But I escalated it to a Dispute & Paypal stepped in to refund me. SP are still asking me to give them good reviews!! So I am adding another POOR review. Let me tell you, it's only when something goes wrong that you find out the true nature of a company. Do NOT patronize merchandisers like this one.
Reading the reviews on Facebook I regret to order through sleepy people. Placed an order over 4 weeks ago and still not received it. Ring this morning and just hit voicemail. Poor customer experience!
Placed order 3 May, paid for express delivery - still not received item, been ringing for last two days - currently on hold 28 minutes - and sent email. Still no response from them yet they have the cheek to ask for a review. They will get one - but probably won't like it!
Not impressed with waiting for delivery
I returned my incorrect order with a signed for delivery to this company, it has been signed by a staff member on the 8th December and it's the 4th January and still no refund?? I have emailed you twice and you won't respond to me, where's my FULL refund please ???
