Hello!!
We are looking for new recruits to come and join in our monthly workshops. We are a group of around 100 people of all different ages and experience who like to get together, roll their sleeves up, have a drink and have a go at something arty! Every month there's a different workshop, painting, printmaking, photography, clay, mixed media, textiles - all accessible and all great fun and there are usually between six and twelve people at each workshop so its always ver...y friendly!
You only come to the ones you fancy, or the ones you can fit into your diary; some people come to every one and some to only one or two here and there. You'll get a loyalty card and special offers and discounts and if you want to keep a seat for every month, or bring a friend or two, its always fabulous value! All the materials and equipment are provided and even a sneaky wine or hot chocolate too. (You don't even have to clear up the mess at the end!)
Send us a message for some more info if you're interested in joining us...it would be lovely to chat. Here are the next two!

Last few places for this fabulous workshop on Saturday!
What an amazing night. I met some wonderful people and created a piece of art I didn't know I had in me! Kath, the tutor, was very encouraging and helpful, explaining why/how art genres developed over time, and how to recreate our own masterpieces. There is no right or wrong on the course, just go with the flow and you'll be surprised what you create!
What a fun evening! Kath is a great teacher, putting us at ease, and making it such an enjoyable evening, thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you!
The most inspiring and calming art experience. Kath has a way of gently talking you into creating things you never thought possible.
I'm a bit art phobic after bad experiences in high school art classes. I really enjoy craft so thought a sleeves up class might be a good way to put my ghosts to rest and enjoy making art.
Kath is a fantastic teacher and the setting is perfect to have fun with art in a nice relaxed setting. I'm so pleased with the vase I made that it's on permanent display in the house!
Looking forward to taking another class soon.
I thoroughly enjoyed my first ‘Sleeves Up’ experience, it was great to become reacquainted with the creative side of things and use some new combinations of materials and techniques. Loved the collage, pastels and frottage (great word, although need to use with care!) and putting it all together with a friendly crowd and comparing the different creations among the group made for a really fun and relaxing time! I felt in safe hands as Kath is a very positive and encouraging tutor, would recommend everyone to have a go!
I love these classes. I always have fun, find it better than therapy and often have something to put up on the wall.
I had so much fun making my junk art mermaid! Friendly, sociable, totally comfortable to come to by myself (most people did). I'll be back!
I braved it, and I loved it! I went to Kath's brilliant workshop and as I'm in no way artistic was very nervous about the whole process of painting anything other than the garden shed. The whole evening was very relaxed and Kath talked us expertly through building up our pictures. Once I'd got started it was more than ok, it was really enjoyable and the end result was quite a surprise. I'm definitely booking another workshop in the future. Thanks Kath and everyone else who was there it was a great evening.
Highly recommend. Art is not a natural talent for me but it was thoroughly enjoyable, and I was pleasantly surprised with my final piece of art work -looking forward to doing some more!
Had a lovely fun evening with great people. Thank you Kath for making it such fun. It was a bit out of my comfort zone but I thoroughly enjoyed it
