What a fantastic place for lunch with the children and grandparents! A hidden gem!! Thank-you!

Went for coffee and cake, but ended up staying for lunch as well! It was a beautiful day, but as the afternoon drew in, rain came, that still didn't dampen our spirits. The cakes were amazing coffee good and a pot of tea for 2 more than adequately served 3 of us. I have recommended Slice to friends and will definitely come back ’┐Į

Went for breakfast today with my 1 year old daughter and 2 of my friends. It was lovely, food was delicious and they were very accomadating for my daughter. The children's menu is fab for the price! Shame it was raining as we couldn't enjoy the garden as it looked beautiful! Will deffo be returning very soon!!

Well... what can I say. What a little hidden gem you have. We have been twice in as many days. On our first visit we just had coffee. Not just any coffee but coffee that was hot and not luke warm. My husband has an asbestos mouth so hot coffee is his idea of bliss. On our second visit we booked for Saturday lunch and requested a specific table. We were great by warm and friendly staff and we're sat at our requested table. My mum and Dad had 'Stormy Seas and Old School, Ham, Egg and chips. Both said their meals were beautiful but apologise for leaving some as they were full. Generous portions. My husband and I had cheese scones which were absolutely delish and every mouthful was sheer delight! Just one minor complaint (said tongue in cheek and no offence intended) please please please have some of the roast tomato chutney on sale. I would have bought vast quantities. Thoroughly enjoyable and we will be back.

We went for breakfast on a hot Bank Holiday Monday which was amazing. We go to Slice regularly and the staff are always welcoming and go out of their way to look after all of their customers . Can't recommend it highly enough ­¤śŖ­¤śŖ­¤śŖ

This morning I came for my first visit. I had a hot chocolate and really tasty vegan breakfast. I had to buy one of your gorgeous mugs! Can't wait to come back soon! ’┐Į thanks

The food was scrumptious and the service fantastic, having ample outdoor seating is a bonus too, indoor seating well ventilated. Booking a table is recommended if you want to sit somewhere specific as fills up quickly. I Can highly recommend.

Second visit today and it was amazing once again. Not only is this a beautiful venue and really well thought out- the woodland play area is idyllic- but the food is spot on. We even saw the pen being used by Llama walkers who popped in and tied their llamas up!!!!

Popped in for a late lunch the girls front of house make you feel really welcome we both opted for the old school ham egg and chips whish was first class reasonably priced and totally lush.

The ambiance is the essence of this haven with great music and fantastic views makes you feel so chilled so thankyou you got it right and CUSXX

Lovely place to go, the hot chocolate n brownie were also delicious and the kids thoroughly enjoyed walking around the gardens and finding all the hidden things around ’┐Į’┐Į

Have been meaning to try here for a long time..... Why didn't I come sooner! It's amazing. Has to be the best breakfast in Cornwall, and with the surroundings you just got to love it!

Fantastic breakfasts that have inspired me at home, one of the best places I have eaten at in years, beautiful and cared for, felt a real sense of place.
