🦂 CB Emperor Scorpions 2-3cm £135.00 🦂
Like all Scorpionidae, this species is an obligate burrower. Food is any animal smaller than themselves. In captivity, they will eat lizards and small mice.
Pandinus imperator os their Latin name and are unusually docile and very slow to sting. Although young emperor scorpions use their stings in a normal fashion, adults rarely use the sting to subdue prey, prefering to kill prey with their massive claws. Even when stinging in defense,... adults may not inject venom. Though large in size, this species is not considered dangerous to humans.
Nonetheless, they are venomous. All scorpions are viviparous, meaning that the babies develop within the mother, gaining nutrients for growth directly from her, and are born alive.
In scorpionid scorpions, embryonic development is katoikogenic. That means that the embryos develop within specialized sacs on the female's overiuterus. A highly specialized structure connects the embryo's mouth to the female's digestive system.
Parental care seems to be very important in this species. The young seem to exhibit increased survival when maintained together in family groups.
Pandinus imperator is a very popular and common pet scorpion. They don't make much noise and are very good with children.

Theses guys need plenty of room when they reach adulthood. We recommend 8x4x4ft vivarium.
They definitely have a fantastic appetite, however we see too many boscs who overindulge their selves and become overweight. A good healthy diet with theses monitors and regular socialisation can make theses hugely rewarding pets.

Coming from the mountains of East Africa this little species is quite happy with night time low temperatures. The do like to bask at higher temperatures during the day but very high temperatures should be avoided. They do seem to be tolerant of each other and are often kept in small groups. Its is even suggested pairs of animals will form pair bonds during the breeding season. Most unusual for chameleons.

Giant Train Millipedes (Archispirostreptus gigas) NOW £19.99 each
The name is a tongue twister, but this well-known millipede is a superb pet animal. They often come with a small collection of mites. These are known as commensal mites. They live in harmony with the millipede. The mites get the benefit of free food and the millipede gets a free clean-up crew. A fascinating combination. If the mite’s trouble you, they can be removed with a soft paint brush. A few goes may be required to remove them all. Do not use any chemical as this will result in the death of both the mites and the millipede.

Lots of reptiles and amphibians have common names that shall we say flatter them. This gorgeous frog is the opposite. The name originates from the fact the frogs were once used to dye clothing. The name grey leg is also misleading. Mature frogs generally have pale blue legs. Whatever the name the frog is one of the best dart frogs for the terrarium. They are bold inquisitive animals always on show hunting for insects or interacting with other frogs. Although they are one of the largest dart frog species they are specialist feeders of tiny food items. Micro crickets and fruit flies suit them well but do give them plenty.

P. brongersmai is a primarily crepuscular species – usually active around dawn and dusk.
Hatchlings of P. brongersmai range from 25–43 cm (10–17 in) in total length (including tail). Adult males typically range from 91–152 cm (36–60 in) in total length, and females between 120–180 cm (48–72 in) although a few have been recorded at 240 cm (96 in). These snakes generally look overweight due to their robust structure.
P. brongersmai can live 20 years or more in captivity if proper care is given.
Captive-raised juveniles generally become mild-tempered, somewhat-predictable adults. This, combined with several new brightly colored captive bloodlines, is helping to boost the popularity of these much-maligned snakes among reptile hobbyists.
