Was told we had 1hr wait for table, in fact by time we'd got drinks from bar, little chit-chat, it was 30min max. Bar staff very friendly and helpful with our drinks order as 1of our party wanted cocktails but wasn't sure what to have, food excellent ,service to table excellent, would definitely return!

Made the most of the Mon/Tuesday offer - burger & a drink for £7, gunna be back every week! Money well spent : ) big thanks to Naomi, she was absolutely lovely! 5* from us x

Good food shared the platter, food was good with a good variety to share but the food could have been hotter in temperature. Waitress was friendly. Good value for money platter to share half lager & 1 coffee just less than £20

Havjng a great afternoon when a new barmaid came on shift.. Emily! Rudely told us no bar stool at the bar and to move! Pub wasn't busy at this point I moved the stool and stood at the bar, watched her ask another member of staff to ask us to move and then continued with her awful attitude and painfully appearing to try to smile! Usually a great bar for afternoon drink but put off now.. Apparently she'd had a bad day �

A nice place which unfortunately was spoiled by one our party finding a long hair in their meal, given the fact 3 of the party are bald and one has very shirt hair definitely wasn't one of ours. The waitress was very apologetic and knocked the price of that meal off our bill, the only person I could see working there whose hair seemed to be the same colour and the only one whose hair wasn't tied back appeared to in a managerial post!!!

Massively ripped off on both drinks prices and measures. The shot of gin poured was barely three quarters full and this happened twice. The toilets are without doubt the worst pub loos I’ve ever had to wade through, made trainspotting look pristine. Avoid. Plenty of others around the area better

Apalling on friday night. Rude and obnoxious bouncer making people queue as the bar had reached capacity. Obvs that is fine but there were people in the queue who had already bought drinks inside and were not allowed ro return to their drinks. Also people had tables booked for food and were not allowed in! Total shambles!

We were 2 and my drink took forever to come. I had to remind staff twice that I am still waiting for the drink and my drink came after food. Also that 2 for 1 offer is just an eyewash. It was actually one drink was divided in two glasses. Basically it was 1 is to 2

Was there yesterday, ok was extremely busy as Christmas markets on, but can imagine this place is always busy, only 4 female toilets!! Not enough! Queued for 15 minutes for the toilet & 20 minutes to get served. Witnessed the bar man squeezing limes into a cocktail with very dirty fingernail! I would not like to think I was drinking that drink after his dirty fingers been in the drink, no gloves!! Disgusting! Empty glasses everywhere, no one collecting glasses. They must know that it’s goimg to be busier than usual so why not get more staff in?

Waited over 10 mins for 3 coffees when it wasn't even busy and we could see 4 of the staff were working. I ordered side chips as well with my meal it came all soggy and cold. I had to returned it. I ordered veggie burger and don't think they even bothered to chop fresh lettuce. It was horrible to see when your meal comes out like that. I work in this industry and I would hate to comment like this but it was just annoying. Also is it not weird no one really comes to ask if our meal was ok ? This is second bad experience. Never eating in Slug and lettuce again.

There were 4 of us in our group. We found the service was poor. We even had a long wait for the coffee. The food wasn’t very good & one of our group was ill afterwards. She had fish & chips. We all noticed immediately that the fish looked too well done. She ate most of it but didn’t enjoy it. It was too greasy & her plate was swimming in oil. I found that mine was not the best. I had peas as a veg & was surprised how few were on the plate. Needless to say we won’t be going again & will tell our friends.

Food came out within 5 mins sausage and mash poor quality sausage still white gravy like water and chicken wrap was expensive for poor quality food

Denied entry by the bouncer because ‘I wasn’t allowed back in’ and ‘a guy was wearing the same jacket as me.’ Funny how it was the first time I’d ever attempted to get in as I’d been at The Script concert! Won’t attempt to return again.
