Me and my partner enjoyed our drinks, but when we went to the bar to order food we couldn't get served even though there was no one else at the bar. We would go back but only if there was better service

I went with my 5 friends for cocktail afternoon teas yesterday. No one knew what they were doing completely disinterested staff. My food was gluten free the rolls were nice but no cakes only a bowl of lemon sorbet. I complained and was brought out what was meant to be pistachio bites. They were soggy, tasted of almond not pistachio and generally inedible! Then the bill was finally sorted 3 times it took them to get it right! The bar had run out of glitter, candy floss, peach puree and several other things needed for the cocktails we wanted. Very poor show and won't be going back!!

We ordered our food at 12.45 was told half hour wait which we didn't mind. after an hour one adult meal and one child's came out .four of us were still waiting for our meals after 2hrs we complained to waiter who was very rude and said everyone is waiting. We then got bar staff to check and they said it's on the way .eventually we had to get a refund as got fed up of waiting .ruined our family day out went home starving . Bad service, rude waiter never go again

Visited here for the first time on Sunday late afternoon and definitely won't be going back! As it was a lovely evening we thought we'd sit outside. However, pretty much every table was filthy dirty and covered in dirty plates etc. Eventually found one that altho it was dirty, didn't have used plates, glasses etc on it.

When our order came we were missing one person's meal which we waited another 10 mins for. Another couple at another table had the same problem! The food was ok! Just ok!

However, my main complaint was when ordering drinks! Asked for diet cokes with just a little ice. Never a problem anywhere else. The barman continued to half fill the glasses with ice! When I asked for some to be taken out he said he was told by management to half fill the glasses with ice and if I wanted less it would cost an extra 70p per pint!! Absolutely fuming. Total rip off. Drinks menu offers a PINT OF COKE not half a glass of ice and half a pint of coke!

Will not be returning and would recommend anyone to give this place a wide berth.
