Lovely atmosphere for young or old. Whether you want to call in for a coffee, like my mother in law/ or the odd pint /or bottle of wine(wednesdays) Food is also recommended. Friendly staff!

Last night we did a cocktail master class, Aaron was ace, we had such a laugh and it’s fab value for money. Thanks.

Had my step mums hen do here last night. The staff were all so helpful and really made the night amazing. So thank you all so much! � we will be recommending for sure!

Had a fantastic evening for my friends hen do.

We booked a table for 12 , & we had the prosecco welcome booked .

Table was ready for us when we arrived , we was able to decorate the table with hen party accessories.

Food was absolutely fantastic , service was great, charlotte couldn't do enough for us .

We all had a night to remember .

Great offers on food and drinks, friendly welcoming staff.

Best eatery in town nice n clean always friendly atmosphere far better than the golden wouldnt eat in there if it was free the slug is much much better dont know why people complain seem to wanna get in n get out if thats what you want go to the hot dog stand in the high street keep up the good work you slugs love ittttt martin

After many attempts to try and find a pub without along wait on food, we finally decided to come here. The meal was lovely me & my maw really enjoyed our dinner although was a wee bit noisy with the hen do going on in the other room but apart from that we enjoyed ourselves, we will defiantly be coming here alot often!

The staff were great, the drinks were good however my chicken was dry and bland it was the smothered chicken and although I requested no cheese, there was barely any bbq sauce and it wasn't even a good sized filet of chicken.

Here last night, had cod and chips. The cod was greasy and well overdone. Had a very strange coloured batter as if it had been recooked.

Had numerous pornstar martinis which were fab, they hadn't been very nice for weeks but seem to be back to perfection.

The staff work as fast as they can even with there time taken up making the cocktails. Could do with some extra staff especially at weekends, as you spend ages being ignored and everyone else around you gets served.

Apart from this it's well decorated and I enjoy nights out here

Only moan was that for £25 per head the buffet really wasnt adequate it wasnt served hot either. Dj was good shame he couldnt play songs we asked for which spoilt it for us he also had no mic ! Strange.

Would i recommend it yes the staff are lovely however could do with more as had to wait ages at the bar

The food was awful. Raw steak instead of rare, which also had a slightly cheesy taste. Frozen defrosted avocado in the "super food salad" �� I did ask if there was fresh but was brought more frozen and then told they only have frozen defrosted. Sea bass was curling on the edges and yellowing. Salad left alot to the imagination. Shame. Quality terrible. Staff were keen and helpful though, and the service was OK.

Worst service ever. The Barman was so rude. Purposely ignored us for ages and served others who were stood there for less time than we were. Almost made a point not serving us. But was happy to serve the people that tipped him extra. We waited for over 20 minutes and still wasn’t served. Left in the end as could tell he was not going to serve us. Seriously unimpressed.

Not worth going at all. Its a nice place to drink. Staff not very friendly.

Meals are rubbish and you had to ask for knives and forks when meal on table . Not going again and wouldnt recommend it.
