Went for a meal here and it was good quality for a decent price. The staff were so polite and lovely would defiantly go back there.

We had a lovely breakfast on Sunday just gone. We sat out in their back garden, as it was a lovely sunny day. I highly recommend Farnham slug and lettuce. Will be going back for another breakfast !

Myself and my best friend had Lunch at the Slug and Lettuce Yesterday We both had the Cod and Chips Mushy Peas it was delicious� Great Atmosphere, Lovely Food and Great Company What more could you ask for on a Monday��

My son had a steak - cooked to perfection, I had a steak sandwich - cooked to perfection, and 2 other meals were great. Puddings were amazing, although the little treacle things could do with being a bit softer. Great service. Thanks, and all on a busy carnival Saturday 😊🥂

My son and I had breakfast here on Monday, it was our first time in The Slug and Lettuce, He had a full English and I had the vegetarian and we both had a pot of tea, and all for only £6.65!!! As Mondays are 50% off all meals...well impressed and will definitely visit again

My friend and I shared our birthday celebrations here this afternoon/evening. The 'afternoon tea' was fantastic and very tasty! The manager couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. Amazing staff! Thank you so so much� brilliant experience xx

Invariably friendly service and plenty of promotions and good offers to keep us coming back. New menu in spring 2016 loses a few favourites but generally is better and more imaginative than ever. No sign of the Slug losing its status as the go-to food pub in Farnham.

I simply watched my son James and his girlfriend eating a hugh English breakfast I merely had a simple coffee Even the dog Frankie was looked after with a bowl of water and offer of special doggy biscuits Only problem was sitting on the patio area and the sun was so hot There is always some problem We were well looked after Jeff Robertson Star rating 5 out of 5

Fantastic evening for my sisters hen do. Staff were polite friendly and very attentive. The decorations on our reserved table were lovely. Staff were happy to take group photos for us. Free shots were given to us and another hen do which went down very well. Thank you to the events coordinator and all members of staff who helped make my sisters night one to remember.

Really quiet Thursday evening around 7:30pm, only a handful of people in. Drinks a bit expensive (almost £5 for bottle of Crabbies, almost £3 for pint of diet coke) but service was quick and pleasant. Food reasonably priced (chicken pie £9, sausage and mash just under £8) and arrived speedily. Tasty and hot, can't complain. Would visit again.

Charged £2.99 for a tiny pot of jelly what a rip off! If u don't pay for the children's menu which we don't always as we share a main then you pay the price. Was told it's not changed in '10 years' well it might be worth a thought as there is plenty other restaurants who cater for this! They also provided crayons as an added bonus

We had arranged a cocktail night which was good fun, the guy which hosted our party was excellent. But the bouncers where awful, one of our party had one to many and the 2 bouncers who were on duty on Sat 16th Dec @ the Farnham branch, man handled her and throw her out into the street in the freezing cold, No coat! They showed no remorse for their actions, then banned another of our party from coming back in as she had stood up for the lady who was a little drunk! Where was the Christmas spirit. Disgusting behaviour from the bouncers!!

We called in early (6 o'clock Thursday night) for a catch up and found the member of staff that served us very miserable. We would not meet at the Slug again- such a shame as it could be a great pub. Don't work with the public if you can't smile and provide a good service.

In the day def a 5 out of 5 , a lovely place to have great food & relax .

At night OMG avoid def a -1 out of 5

Not because of the great bar staff or clientele but rather the rude aggressive & bullish security .

I'm not saying there all like this but it only take one or two to ruin a night out for someone , shame cos it's a great pub with lovely staff .

I had the fish platter , the fish was dry and over cooked. In contrast the root vegetables weren't cooked enough. The chef cannot cook fish.

If we hadn't been in a group I would have sent it back and complained but I didn't want to spoil the evening for everyone else.

The ambiance was good and most of the party enjoyed their food.

Family friendly restaurant??? We went in on Saturday for lunch with our 19 month old. I asked if they had a highchair when we first walked in and was told yes so we went to a table and made ourselves comfortable, but then another waitress came over to tell us they only have one high chair and it was already in use. Not what i expected from a pub restaurant that say on their website they are family friendly. Cant comment on the food as we left.

Went there on a Saturday night, had my picture taken and wasn't allowed to wear a hat as apparently it covers my face(?!), what if someone has a fringe?! Bouncers were rude and aggressive, and it was so hot in there with no air conditioning. Avoid at all costs, way better places to be in Farnham!

So management team at Slug and Lettuce Farnham I hope you are proud of yourselves.

To refuse my daughter entrance to your bar because of the way she walked even though it was explained to you that she has cerebral palsy . You also accused her of making this up , a completely appalling accusation.

Perhaps you are not familiar with the rights of discrimination in this country.

You then tried to say it was her appearance, although her sister who was wearing scruffier clothes was apparently fine to go in!

Then it was the excuse that she had had too much to drink , two ciders ..... The doorman at The Botanist of course let them straight in after your refusal.

My daughter has come home devastated at her first experience of discrimination and I am beyond angry that you have put her through this.

Please share and make people aware of what kind of place this is .

My 17 year old son has aspergers and other special needs. He had 2 other 17 year old autistic friends with him for the day yesterday. This provided a perfect opportunity for us parents to get them to practice some independence skills (one of the boys has good travel skills and goes out alone all the time) thus providing the other 2 with some confidence. After taking a train together and bowling in Aldershot (massive achievement) they got home and wanted to venture out again. I decided (after looking up the laws) it would be a good idea as they are all approaching the age of 18 that they should try buying a soft drink in the slug. I chose the slug as I go in a lot with my son and kids, also the fact it's only just gone 6pm and plenty of families would still be eating there. When they arrived they were asked their ages (all had ID on them) and were refused service (buying soft drinks) as they weren't accompanied by an adult! My sons confidence ended up being shaken and he got very panicky! I called to complain and spoke to the manager and she said she couldn't understand why they were refused and took my number to talk to the member of staff that should have served them. The member of staff called back and said it was policy not to serve any under 18's after 6pm unaccompanied! Very strange this as the manager didn't know the policies! And there are always families in there till at least 8pm and always students getting served! Wtf! I'm fuming! That's now caused a lot of damage that I now have to fix!!!
