Went to Slug & Lettuce for a quiet meal with my wife for her birthday..very happy with the meal...nice suroundings...and pleasent service... will go again.
Went ta Slug and Lettuce yesterday for cocktails an afternoon tea. Food was amazing pictures do not do it justice. Staff are so friendly one member a staff impaticular Heather was absolutely great very attentive an helpful made it all the better. Can't fault the place will definitely be going again ��

Love this place and have lovely service! Especially the new girl holly she made a great pornstar martini and was very friendly and polite great service!!!
Just couple bottles wine , and freinds had cocktails chilled afternoon
I visited yesterday with my friends and our three 12 year olds, to celebrate my daughter's birthday prior to going to the Little Mix concert....they had decided upon themselves that they wanted pornstar martinis!! As I went to the bar to order food I spoke to the manager and she happily obliged with a non alcoholic version.....looked the part complete with passion fruit and a prosecco shot (Apple juice and lemonade) our girls were absolutely buzzing to be drinking cocktails like their mothers!!! So thank you for making our birthday lunch out so enjoyable ���
Had a fantastic meal with my husband last night, booked a table back in January asked for a table in the corner and that was for-filled, was seated straight away and everything was explained to us. We read the menus and decided on what we’d like to order.
We ordered
Cheese topped nachos
Feast with friends
Breaded mushrooms
10z stake with peppercorn sauce
Chicken tikka
Sweet potato fries
Spicy rice
Seasonal veg
Bottle of wine
Pint of lemonade
We left very full and have both said we’ll be back again, the lady who thanked us for coming also wished me well with my adventures with Thomas Cook.
Think next time we’ll be trying deserts as well
Had a fantastic evening meal with alot of our friends. Riddz was a top member of the team and helped me out with what drinks to have, topppp customer service good lad � x
Booked for 14 people for a meal yesterday and all i can say is wow! The staff were all fantastic we couldnt have been made more welcome. The manager (Heather) was great and coulnt do enough for us. Thank you so much guys looking forward to next time ������
2 times girly lunch ,great gin cocktails, great sweetpotatoe chips ,chilli was cold at some parts need to be warmth again, other then that was very pleased
Went there on a girls daytime drinking sesh sat in the corner by the window lovely comfy chairs. The cocktails were fab perfect dackari as often dackaris I have been served are just coloured rum wine was nicely served in a bucket with decent sized glasses my friends had the baileys latte n they went down a treat good day all round.

Went in Sunday for daughter Birthday. There was 9 of us but still had to order at bar, which was a clatt but do able. Food was actually really good, all of us had something different and all enjoyed what they had. But the service was so so very slow, it took ages to come and then when we were finished we sat in front of dirty dishes for along time. It was not even that busy. But overall good afternoon, lovely place
Well where do I begin........ Saturday lunchtime, starters ordered to come with out main meals. Not by us. Staff were unhelpful when asked to hold mains till we had eaten our starters.
Generally a very disappointing service.
We spoke to one of the shift managers. Who had been told by our server a very interesting version of events . She was not happy. And promised to speak to staff.
Food was really good just a shame the children employed could not do a job! 😕
The staff was lovely ..the food hot ..a bit over cooked we had a platter to share but the food was over done ..lasagne not very tasty sorry my friend had a steak and the other a chicken burger they both enjoyed .. .it was very busy ..so im putting it down to that ..chef a bit over worked maybe ..xx
Not enough bar staff, so long wait cos everyone having cocktails. Fish finger sandwich was rubbish. 4 small fish fingers with brownish fish n chips for £7.50. Won't eat there again. Still a good driking pub though

.but we ordered off the starter menu.and also three mains.
When it came the main came first for one of us.we asked they guy where the starters were .He said it was all coming out at the same time as we had ordered it that way then walked off leaving one main course going cold.
He then brought us all our food and wasnt bothered that we didn't want to have it like this.
My burrito was cold from the start so sent it back.the second one was warm but only had three prices of chicken .We did mention all this to the manager of the dinner section she did apologise. But they really need to up there game on customer service !
Went in for a bite to eat - service veeeeery slow at the bar. Then looking at the menu - very disappointed with what was available so didn't bother and went over to The Lord Wilson where the service was much much better and a decent choice of food.
Terrible food, dry sandwich and cold chips, told the waiter the chips needed to go back in a polite manner and he was so rude. Only saving grace was the chirpy girl behind the bar. I will never eat there again.
