thank u so much had my hen do there yesterday(25/11/17) absoloutly brilliant amazing table setting to the last orders at the bar tom our barmaid was amazing he always checked we was all ok to wen we needed first aid he was brilliant even on some of our hen do dares top night thanks all xx

We went to Yates for a cocktail making class as part of my hen do. Jo the bartender leading the class was fantastic ! Real master of the trade and a great laugh ! Fantastic class cannot recommend highly enough ! We all had a great time and staff were all so welcoming. Thank you �

We came last night for xmas party . Food was good . Loved the hats staff were lovely really friendly and bubbly . Great night for what you pay perfect the only thing we would think that could be different is to eat upstairs as you feel a bit odd one table to the side but still it was great think we come back next year

We came here as a group of 17 as part of a hen package for food one evening. After the company we booked through messed up our pre order, our host Tom was absolutely brilliant in running around ensuring all of us had something suitable to eat. Didn't wait long at all. Food was great and staff were brilliant! Thanks again �

Say huge thank you to staff got me table booked eng game looked after me so well over 3 days.. Best pub in Bournemouth best. Do best food ever..

Pay your staff more because good staff like them u cant find easily. The 2 girls behind bar were brilliant. 10out10.

Just wanted to say thank you to Yates for sorting out our table last night for the boxing, when there was a mix up in booking originally. We had our own booth with a private TV which meant great viewing. They had staff taking orders from our table which meant we didn’t even have to go up to the bar. Really amazing service and had a great night. Thank you!

I came with my partner and some friends last night for the marvel quiz. It was a great atmosphere. Friendly staff. I only had spiral fries and my partner had chips today eat but they were very nice. The man who did the quiz was very funny and made it a great night. And the toilets were nice and clean!

Had a hen party booked for the cocktail master class and a meal, great value for money and staff were amazing!!! Olly was a brilliant host!! So fun and amazing at making everyone feel relaxed and encouraging everyone to enjoy themselves, top bloke! Recommend for a great start to a hen/birthday party!!!

Called in to watch the Rugby, great atmosphere, service was excellent with a very friendly waitress calling on our tale to check if we needed any refills. Great place to watch any sport matches etc�

Absolutely Epic !!! Would love to say a massive thank you to Ollie for teaching us how to make our cocktails also for making us have lots of fun and giggles was an amazing night for my sisters hen do and would love to come back soon

1st time eating here came along with my family for the Mothersday special offer and can say it was lovely , the staff there were very friendly and helpful they went the extra mile to ammend and sort our order out :) thanks for a lovely meal we all enjoyed it

Went out for nye last night, was at be bar buying myself and my friend a drink. One of the drinks was knocked over at the bar just before I was about to pay for both drinks, just as I was handed the card machine... The young lad serving us told me it was me that knocked the drink, even though the drink was knocked towards me, while he passed the card machine too me. My friend asked politely if we could get another drink as he spilled it, he refused. She then asked if still had to pay for the drink as it was knocked by him at the bar, and it wasn't like we dropped it across the room. He was so rude to her and told her of course we had to pay, blamed me again for spilling the drink and I had to pay still. So as I was about to pay, my friend again asked why I had to pay if he knocked the drink over, she said we would rather not have either drink, if we had to pay double price for one. And he said that wasn't going to happen.. By this point he was getting really annoyed and refused to even talk to a manager or another member of staff about it. It really could have been handled a lot better. I'm not happy about paying £11.20 for my drink and for a drink one of the staff members knocked over.

Came here to watch the World Cup Quarter Final- Sweden v England .. no surprise BIG crowds watching the match.. the staff worked really hard to serve the masses , however there just wasn’t enough Staff to do the job, 5 bar staff was just not enough.. no glass collectors no one to change the barrels, so long queues.. they also ran out of glasses. Not good, very frustrating for was a massive occasion. At the end of the match, the masses left, the staff then closed the bar.. !! I had to then wait another 30 minutes to be served.. again not enough staff to help out. Hope you sort this out before Wednesday’s Semi Final .. Brilliant day spoilt by poor Staff cover on the day.

I did not expect Cordon Bleu cooking but it was very poor.

The Roast had clearly been microwaved, (Potatoes crunchy and dried up around edges, Carrots and peas dried up, Roast potatoes looked like they had been deep fried, gravy like water, Beef dried out).



My wife had a platter which was very greasy when it came out with no dips and we had to ask for them.

We waited over an hour for the food and the place was not busy at all.

We had 4 Roasts, 1 platter and one Burger and that two was dried out.



In hindsight we should have complained at the time but due to the length of time we waited initially we really could not be bothered.



On the plus side the young lady who served us was very friendly and accommodating, so to was the young man who served us at the bar.

Walked two miles in the rain as this was advertised as traditional English pub. Turns out it's a student's only pub!

Very upset with poor service and rude attitude from a member of the bar staff in Yates Bournemouth on Tuesday 27th September. I attend the Tuesday event Toast most weeks and never normally have any issues however on this particular evening my housemate and I encountered very rude service from a staff member we believe to be called Jody. I said 'excuse me' to him whilst he was serving another customer which I did not realise at the time and his response included a gesture which was not well received, it was rude and an invasion of personal space. I really hope particular staff members will have a better attitude towards customers in the future, will not be back any time soon.

The men’s toilet floor was flooded with piss on each occasion I went in there over a three hour period while the guy “working” in there concentrated on selling squirts of aftershave whilst paddling in piss
