Work put on a team night out, everyone had a fab time. We had a reserved area, lush food and great music! Thank you

I went there for a breakfast before marching with my charity at the Gay Pride Parade.

My mate and I had gorgeous Eggs Benedict, a latte each one and we indulged ourselves with a glass of mimosa they had on offer. What a way to start the day!!! Awesome place, delicious food, efficient service and a nice experience. Loved it!

I visited here today with my husband and daughter,we had a lovely meal and amazing cocktails,the food was lovely and didn't have to wait very long for the food, the staff where brilliant,very welcoming and friendly ,I will definitely be back next time I come to Manchester .

Fantastic set up for my sisters hen party last night. Glass of prosecco on arrival followed by a fabulous spread of food and a great cocktail class all for £25 pp

Couldn't fault it. Would highly recommend for a group of upto 12 hens !

Enjoyed a lovely family occasion at Slug and Lettuce Spinningfields Manchester. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. The menu had something for every taste, (even veggies like me). Would I go back again? Without doubt.

Came for drinks and lunch today with my parents and my little boy. Great service from the staff, kids menu was a good variety and not just the usual chicken nuggets. My little boy enjoyed the salmon, wrap and veggies while we grown ups enjoyed a beer in the sun by the river. Lovely visit for all!

Brilliant time it was heaving but the service was good and the staff were fantastic !!

Lunchtime drink and a bite to eat with my Mrs. Waitress approached us quickly to assist and was very pleasant and helpful with drinks menu. Enjoyed the food and drinks were great. Price very reasonable and surrounding really nice and clean. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and return.

Had a great time with my friends the food was amazing and the pudding was just the right size after having starters and a main meal the food was set out nice and came out fast even after are starters we didn’t wait long for are a min meal my friends enjoyed there cocktails the only thing I say please could you consider more mock-tails there was only 3 of them I couldn’t have any of them due to some of the things in them in an other bar we went to they had a lot more which I could have am sure you guys could look round maybe add others to your menu x

Sadly not up to the same standard as other pubs in the group. The venue feels scruffy and tables are slow to be cleared after other diners leave even when the bar is quiet. Generally more attention needs to be paid to cleanliness. Crumbs etc are often left over the tables and chairs. This could be a great venue but I'm always left with the feeling that staff are really not that interested.

I love Slug and Lettuce and would give 5* but wasn't happy yesterday when I travelled all the way to town for 2-4-1 cocktails as it says on the website ALL DAY, EVERYDAY and they said it's not on that day? Not a happy bunny :(

Booked a table for 6 of us and was really pleased they did a separate menu for my gluten intollerant mum... not so happy she had to order 3 times as her 1st two choices they'd run out of... no steak and no fish... she ended up with a boring salad which she said she enjoyed but still just a salad ... service was great tho.. and a very lively atmosphere

Went yesterday as it’s opposite my flat and the weather was nice and they have outdoor seating by the river. Food was shocking. Don’t know what I was expecting to be honest but it literally tasted of nothing. Would rather eat at whetherspoons! We left mid way through our meal as I was waiting at the bar for over 20 minutes (bar wasn’t even remotely busy for a Saturday) only for everyone who came to the bar after me to get served before me. As a bar manager, I would have a look into your Spinningfields site as it’s an extremely poorly run free-for-all.

Went in around 7pm yesterday. stood at the bar for over 5 minutes trying to place drinks order and to ask if someone could clear the table and was completely ignored. the place wasn't busy had plenty of staff just rude staff. won't be going back staff need training!

We went in after doing the great Manchester half marathon yesterday, it wasn't busy at all when we arrived quite early! we ordered food and only half of it turned up after waiting an hour and half our order had got forgotten, they then cooked my food that had been forgotten and brought me the wrong thing and blamed me and said that's what I ordered in a very rude manner! When I 100% ordered chicken as I don't like pulled port whatever it is! The other staff were ok but the barman that all this happened with wasn't good and don't think we will be going back to that one on spinning field which is a shame as we love the location and cocktails

The management clearly don't care about customers comments. It's clear to see the place is an utter joke. The staff behind the bar appear to do what they want, speak to you like crap and if you want a drink be prepared for a long wait. It has to be the worst bar in Manchester by a country mile! Avoid if you want a good night! You have been warned

Just got settled, with food being ordered, when a staff member said that they would 'have to move us' to make room for some dj for an unspecified event. The table was not marked as reserved. I pointed out that they would ask us to move, but was greeted with a blank stare and told we would have to move. The table we have been dumped on is right by the door, in a draught, and frankly the worst table in what is a not yet busy bar. While the food is fine it takes the edge off it when a place takes your money and makes you feel as welcome as a fart in a space suit.

Just finished my order at the bar when an extremely rude and disinterested staff member said that they would 'have to move us' to make room without giving a reason. The table was not marked as reserved. The table we have been dumped on is where the unspecified event was due to take place right by the door, in a draught, and frankly the worst table in what is a not yet busy bar. While the food is OK, when a place takes your money and makes you feel as welcome as a fart in a space suit it is not appreciated. I will not be giving this branch my custom again after today. Your staff need to have some customer service training, or be taught how not to be a robot.

I was supposed to be on a works do there tonight but after travelling all day across the country and dealing with train strikes i was too exhausted to actually go. Imagine my surprise when i get a text from my colleagues stating that even though ive paid a deposit i am required to pay for my full meal as i haven't given 24hrs notice. I can understand if several people have cancelled or the whole booking was cancelled can cause a loss of business but not for one person. I am disgusted and i will be sharing my disgust with anyone who is willing to listen. I was a fan of the slug and lettuce but no more. This is shameful especially right on top of Christmas. Bah humbug slug and lettuce!
