2-4-1 Tanqueray? Why not?!

Went for some food on a Thursday lunchtime. Food was great, good price, came pretty quickly and staff were friendly. Super impressed with the desserts and value for money.

Well once again thank you. Last night we went to meet our family and friends. Staff were so friendly and helpful. I find this every time I go to be honest. The only thing I will moan about is if I go on a week end night the Door Staff are extremely rude and miserable. But the staff inside make up for them. Thank you

Had a great night for my friends birthday lasnite. Nice selection of cocktails, great bar staff and never any trouble there. The bouncers are always friendly and the Security guy called Reece was really polite and lovely despite getting harassed by our drunk friend most of the evening �

Great prices on cocktails, 2 for 1 everyday, great afternoon tea and friendly staff

Booked an area for 26 adults & kids for pre-theatre food & drinks.The Service was fantastic from booking to leaving.Oliver was excellent and very professional in all areas.He was very organised and made my life and the experience very relaxed as it was all under control..The only negative comment was Myself & a friend were on a share platter which should have come with fries but we never got them with ours and everyone who had the skinny fries said how tasty they were 😢😂 Thanks to all the staff for looking after us especially the excited kids desperate to see the pantomime.

Words have not yet been invented to describe the experience of dining here. Most of the menu was unavailable when food arrived some was cold and tasteless. We were give a plate of hot chips to compensate why not give us hot chips to start with. Must also say that the meat pie was very nice and the steak edible Deserts were still not served one hour after ordering. Manager to easily agreed to cancelling drinks from bill as though she is used to having to pacify complaining customers. Will never eat here again

We had a lovely afternoon drinking porn star martinis and mohitos. Very friendly staff.

Food average we ordered then a staff member came and said they didnt have what we wanted so had to adapt it. We had a big reunion spent a lot of money Wednesday afternoon just a shame when we asked for a certain cocktail we where told we couldn't have it on the 2 4 1 offer when I had previously had it only 45 mins before i have always have had when been there before.At the end of the day it's a cocktail just not on there list do didn't see the issue. We go there all the time as central for people. The one downside was it was a sunny day on wednesday not enough staff on we where there for over 6 hrs only after 4hrs did someone come and clear all glasses,plates and Champagne bucket

This was the third time we’ve tried food in here since it opened and that’s the final time now. They never have everything on the menu but let you order, pay and wait 10 mins before telling you. Food is only ok anyway so for the service it’s not worth it.

Slightly disappointed.

Options availability for kids. Once the main course is served they literally forget that you exist. Always had to walk to the main counter and remind them to serve the last course. Staff need some training. Overall average and i am sure there may be comparatively better options in that area.

We went to the Slug and Lettuce on Saturday night. What a disappointment with the slow service at the bar. We have been coming here since it was called the Waterside and I have never waited so long to get a drink at the bar there was one particular barmaid that didn't want to serve me for some reason. I think I will reconsider coming here in future.��

Very poor service. Only one bar staff on taking orders for both food and drink. Was a sunny day - outside area was very busy but everyone was complaining about not getting service. Before I sat down at our table (outside) I had to clear it myself (it was full of dirty dishes and glasses). No-one came to wipe the table which was very dirty. In the end we just had sparkling water each (after standing waiting to be served at the bar for a good 15mins) and then we left. We were there at the same time last week...the weather wasn't so good then and there weren't as many people but the service was still very poor. We won't be back.

Terrible service, rude unfriendly staff. Never again we I be visiting this place !

Power tripping bouncer didn’t let myself and 3 friends in because we were laughing on the way into the bar and apparently were too intoxicated to

be allowed in!! We are all nearly 42 years old and were having a good night!! Sorry about that!! Note to self, must walk to bars with stern faces or will not be let in!! Absolute joke!!!!

How can you not have any white wine that is half decent on a bank holiday the fridge was empty apparently they didn't get a delivery.

Called in for a drink at 6 pm today. Lovely sunny day so lots of people here. 1 bartender on the bar! Couldn't be arsed waiting so walked out! Seriously management if you know it's going to be a nice day get more bar staff in!

Absolutely appalling service at Slug and Lettuce in Sale this morning. The catalogue of failings were almost comedic as we speculated what else could go wrong. We were the only other table in there at 11am, and during our visit we experienced; the card machines not working, but implied it was my card which wasn't working; ordering three coffees, one coming out stone cold and then to be told that they couldn't find any coffee beans for the others; my friend's eggs benedict being practically inedible because the muffin was so overcooked that she couldn't cut through it; my other friend's meal was cold as if it had been sat out for ages, but there were only two other people eating in the pub; my daughter's toast being completely black on one side, but carefully disguised by bringing it out with the other side on top; my daughter's babyccino being a cup of cold milk despite the waitress's protests that it had just come out of the machine. All in all, absolutely terrible slow service, barely an apology from the staff, the only other table in there also sent their food back but gave up waiting and left. We also witnessed a manager shouting at a member of staff. Came out of there feeling utterly miserable about having such a terrible experience but paying so much money for it. I don't know if we caught them on a bad day, but I sure as hell won't be going back there to find out!
