MOTIVATION⁣ ⁣ If you are relying on feeling motivated to get after achieving your health and fitness goals. Chances are you are going to fail.⁣ ⁣ Motivation will come and go. ⁣... ⁣ You will see something on TV or YouTube that will light a fire inside of you and motivate you to change your lifestyle.⁣ ⁣ But then life happens.⁣ ⁣ Lack of sleep. A tough day at work. Busy personal life. Lack of progress. The kettlebell swing⁣ ⁣ An exercise lots of people have done, but never really been taught what to do...⁣ ⁣ So let’s start breaking this down, to the naked eye both videos kind of look the same...⁣... ⁣ However, the first video I would describe as a squat and lift, much of these exercises are performed in classes where people swing about less than their weekly shop weighs 👀...⁣ ⁣ People that perform the squat and lift, tend to experience discomfort in the back...if that’s you, that’s not normal!⁣ ⁣ So what should you do.⁣ ⁣ 1. You should send your hips back first and let the knees bend naturally. This is called a hip hinge.⁣ ⁣ 2. It should be a Quick and Violent movement of the hips 👀⁣ ⁣ 3. You should aim to get some connection between the forearms and the inside of your thighs.⁣ ⁣ 4. Aim to send the kettlebell as high as you can send it with the hips, the arms come along for the ride!⁣ ⁣ 5. You should be breathing heavier towards the end of your set! If not add load. As a rule of thumb, double what you usually lift.⁣ ⁣ The humble kettlebell swing, adored by people that can do it, bastardised by tonnes of plebs swinging a 2kg kettlebell around 🤪

SUPPLEMENTS..⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Do you need them? Will they make you reach your goals faster? Are they important?⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The simple answer.. No.⁣⁣... ⁣⁣ As long as you are hitting your macronutrients (Protein, Fats, Carbs) then you shouldn't go wrong in terms of making progress in the gym. Micronutrients should be monitored as well. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Can supplements help? Some supplements can be useful in reaching your goals, but they are not the key to reaching them.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ You need to be consistent with your diet and your training before you should think about supplements.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ If you're needing extra protein in your diet and are struggling with eating then by all means you can use a simple protein shake, but do you really need those raspberry ketones to make you slimmer or lose weight faster? New to 2020….All our current clients are aware of what we are doing, but we are letting the lurkers, the people that haven’t quite taken that jump to contact us….⁣ ⁣ Maybe you have been considering training with us for a while, but never had the push to just act on it?⁣ ⁣ “it will probably be too expensive”... ⁣ We’re actually making it more cost effective to train with us. Personal training can be expensive IF and I used the word IF you don’t see the results you want. To touch base with a personal trainer 3 times per week would cost you in the region of £360/ month. Our membership will be a fraction of that.⁣ ⁣ “it will probably be full of men” ⁣ Nope! The majority of our members are female. Women that like to be strong, change their physique and feel confident knowing what they are doing is working. We should also mention, we still work with men that want exactly the same as above!⁣ ⁣ “it’s just for people that know what they are doing”⁣ ⁣ Could not be further from the truth! If anything its the exactly opposite. Our experience with us is about long lasting change, whether that be weight related or just to feel confident you know what you are doing in a gym.⁣ ⁣ The majority of people we work with have never stepped foot in a gym or just want some guidance and guess what?
