Hi !
Im Katie, I started on a 5 day dog grooming course earlier this year only to realise I LOVE IT ! !
I am currently doing my Level 3 City and Guilds in Dog Grooming and also studying towards my ICMG (International Certified Master Groomer). Which will both be completed end of this year.
I work full time at the moment elsewhere which is why I only have weekends available, but that will be changing over the next 6 months.
I adore dogs and always have, so I groom them in a calming environment (even with dog calming music! ! ) on a one to one, in what was my spare room, no rushing or stressing them, I like a good chat, even with a dog!
As the customer, whatever you want or dont want, just tell me, and I will do my best to oblige. I want the dogs to leave loving me, not hating me (and I guess the owners too, although love not necessary - the dogs come first ) !

Two birthdays for Smelly Nelly's! My son is 26 today and it's little Rupert's 1st birthday, he will be celebrating with doggy cake later, thanks to Mia's Munchies. Ive made him a Rupert the bear bandana 🥰

Mia has been Groomed at Smelly Nelly's and I was very pleased with her cut, left it to Katie and when I picked her up was very pleased with the result
Lovely professional service who took pride and pleasure in her work. My dogs are not used to going to a groomers but you made them feel at ease. My happy doggies now smell and look amazing. And my carpet has lasted ages without a furball! Many thanks. Highly recommend.
Louis had his first visit to Smelly Nelly’s today. As a super curt Poochon with a full winter coat he was a challenge but not for Nelly! He strutted out smelling delightful and feeling very pleased with himself.
We will certainly be back in the New Year. I would recommend for sure.
