Meet Bella. She is my model Bichon. Her parents allow me to practice on Bella. As a newly qualified dog groomers it's great to be able to practice your skills. So today I concentrated on using my scissors on her legs rather than using clippers. She does not like her legs touched to much but it's only get 2nd visit. If you have a dog that you would not mind me practicing on at a discounted price per groom then please get in touch. Ideally I would be looking for your traditional breeds and cuts. You can definitely see the difference from Bella's first visit to her second. Still lots of practice needed but certainly better.

It is hard to fit everything into our busy lifestyles, but we should spare a little time each day to groom our pets. There are so many benefits for our pets from just a few minutes each day. As a dog owner myself I fully understand the benefits of what a quick brush can do for my dog. Happy reading.

Hi everyone as you can see I've had an operation on my eye. I will need some time to recoup. Anyone booked in next week I will still do but don't be alarmed if I am wearing goggles.

🐕🐶🐩 Look at that beautiful face. This is Stanley the bulldog who came in for a mud bath treatment along with his big sister Lady who might I add is the most patient dog I have met. Stanley is a little bundle of energy and 💕 his sister so much that he wanted to be in the bath or on the table with her. Definitely inseparable.😁

Meet Olly. For his first trip to Smoking Dog Parlour he did really well 👍 Not to ofey with his feet being done, but how many dogs are? He was definitely relieved to be off the table and back on terra firmer. I don't think he looks too bad.

Spot is back for his bath and trim. Spot is the big brother of Fudge who is a little bundle of joy. Fudge misses Spot when he's at the groomers and it's fair to say so does Spot. Although judging by the last picture of Spot he does not seem that concerned.

took my lasserapso Gizmo for the full treatment & i have got to say its the best hair cut he has ever had & i will deffo be taking him back for his next trim.... well done to a lovely lady & a big thanx for a job well done regards glen, 5 stars at least

We have just had our puppy groomed . Which is a challenge no other groomers could cope with fudge dew to his behaviour. What can I say amazing lady 5star groomer highly recommended

I took my very excitable Labrador to be groomed by Tammie, she did a fabulous job. Very thorough! He looked lovely when I collected him, smelt great too!

Brilliant service, lovely little place the one to one service is excellent. Only time our dog who is very nervous and stubborn hasn’t hidden for hours after her groom she seems to have liked it. Many thanks and highly recommended xx
