(UPDATED)HOTPOINT URGENT NOTICE. Please contact Hotpoint on the customer service number please 08003161442 regarding the announcement today of the recall of certain models of washing machine. They will be able to tell you straight away if your machine is affected and will be available to assist if so but first thing to do is ring them first and they will require model and serial number which is located inside the door trim of the machine when open. Whirlpools advice is the machines can be used however it is recommended that they only be used on a 20C wash and at home when the machine is in use. Many thanks.
