What to say a big thank you to all the team here especially outdoor manager Callum. Bought a swing set for my son which had missing screws. Took a few days to eventually get the right ones and get ur built but the staff were fantastic. Couldn't have been more helpful. We got there in the end. Even refunded me 20% as it went on sale few days after I bought it but had not been able to build it with missing parts! Well done smyths corton wood ! Thank you :)

Went yesterday been after a fingerling for my daughter for Christmas a while now , asked some staff when they will be in they said oh we don’t know not bothered to even look for us. We then asked another worker who had said they just have a delivery they may be on the load an depending on how long we’re staying she might be able to let us know . We carried on shopping � then she came up to us with a fingerling out of back ! I didn’t get her name all I know she had blonde hair but just would like to thank her she will have made my daughter one happy bunny this Christmas �. Xx

Went to try and purchase a charger today, although I didn't get what I needed, the guy at the games counter went above and beyond to try and get me what I needed, Thankyou

Went to get a new car seat for our daughter Friday. My wife has a vw up and only a few seats will fit properly in the front. The staff, sorry forgot name tall man bald head singing along to music, Matt behind till, security guard smiling and joking with daughter were great. Jodie other member of staff was BRILLIANT would not let us get a seat that didn't fit properly. Spent ages getting it right, checked website to check fitting and also rang manager who wasn't in store for advice. Then after bought came and checked that we could fit it properly on our own. Daughter is far happier in new seat and so impressed went back to get another for my car today. Store manager who was on phone day before was in store and remembered the phone call. Again all checked and excellent service. Want a car seat and want to know it is right and safe - Smyths at Cortonwood every time ����

Just wanted to say thank you, visited your store today there was a cars toy (Filmore), which my son had been searching for in numerous stores for a good while. I mentioned this and straightaway staff went above and beyond to find this toy for him. His collection is now complete and he is very happy, thank you Smyths Cortonwood �

I went for some last minute bits and have been trying to get a fingerling for my little boy as was the only thing I hadn’t managed to get/locate jokingly said to a lovely member of staff Sharon “don’t suppose you have any of these in” next thing I know she dashed off and came back with a fingerling from the back she had been and asked if she could sell it this lady went above and beyond customer service thank you so much you didn’t have to do that still some genuine caring people about smyths u have one fabulous lady working for u ���

Got totally messed around by halfords (cortonwood) came to smyths and cant fault them one bit! Jodie who served me was polite and knew everything I needed to know about the joie every stage car seat she tested my baby in the seat and showed me how to install it incase I ever need to take the seat out and even fitted the seat for me !! Would highly recommend this store!!

Good toys with good prices, would definitely recommand anyone to go to this store for toys etc

Been in today with 3 kids in tow! Your employee Darren was absoloutely amazing with mine and my friends 3 children! Playing with them on the pony cycles with them and making them laugh!



This bloke deserves a massive bonus and a pay rise!! I normally dread toy shopping before Christmas and he made it bearable! Thankyou Darren!!!!!!

Been quite abit & find it better than other toy stores around South Yorkshire, never had a problem with customer service.

Went in today to get an exchange without reciept but had the bank statements to prove I purchased it from them the manager then searched the computer to find the receipt and told me that the store had not sold any in the month of april when I purchased it and couldn't find reciept

Smiths toy stores in Ireland ripping off people they should be done for it check my page for full details don't buy in any of them you been warned

Reserved something online for my daughter's birthday, went to pick it up and the packaging was all ripped. The staff asked if it was ok, told them no and made them exchange it. No apologies for the ripped product, no offer of a reduced rate or anything

Not pleased with your cortonwood store not opening on thursday went to buy fifa 18 for my sons birthday which was on sale . The store was closed at 6pm even tho website stated 8pm i turn up today to purchase the game and the sale is no longer on and the price as doubled

Everything I seem to buy from this store either is already broken or has pieces missing!



Bought my daughter football nets she opened it on her birthday to find all the pieces wasn't in the box and then I had to make another trip there to exchange the day after with an upset little girl. I got no apology

These things should be checked before reaching the shop floor!

Also bought both my girls headphones, which lasted less than a week before earmuffs parts fell off and don't go back on properly!!

Dear smyths, thank you for ruining my sons birthday today.

We bought an xbox one 1s in the Parkgate store Rotherham yesterday..after spending five hours trying to set the machine up this morning, two hour of that on phone to Microsoft. The machine would not install any games disc or downloads....Microsoft agreed a full refund to be giving stating this on an email, we visited ur store for the second time to be faced with horrendous customer service they kept me and my three children waiting another three hour because they needed to test the machine when I'd already got proof from Microsoft the machine was faulty, and if that wasn't enough they tried to tell me the game that was on disc was scratched and chipped...when infact I'd already tried the 20 games we have at home which didn't work either...so then the staff tried to say the Internet was running slow and that's why it wouldn't work...they would not give me a refund..my friend called smyths head office which they finally agreed to give me a full refund...all this could have been solved easy if your staff would listened in the first place...now my son has missed his surprise birthday meal that was prebooked...no presents or money or any time left in the day to enjoy, thanks to your very poor customer service....I shall not be returning to your store for the way your ignorant and rude staff treated me and my children today....
