Instructors should hold a minimum of BASI level 1 or equivalent and have had previous teaching experience. There are also opportunities for freestyle coaches.

We enjoyed our experience ice skating !However I was impressed with the way staff dealt with the car park being flooded.Luckily we moved out car in plenty of time .Some people weren't that lucky and the men outside were very calm and helpful to those in need!

The first visit my 11 year old Grandaughter had the learn to ski in a day course this time she went to ski day camp the instructors are excellent the whole centre has a whole is fantastic so much to offer.The resturant and bar over looking the ski slopes is of a very high standard absolutely great.We live in wales but it's well worth the journey .

Massive thank you to Andy C who was instructing today. He managed to take a complete ski novice (who has never even touched a set of ski's). Then within two hours had me confidently staying upright and in full control making turns down the slope. Great clear instructions, great facilities and managed to make it fun at the same time. Would highly recommend :)

I took my 6 month old baby to his first swimming lesson at the parent and toddler class and he totally loved it, the swim tutor was brilliant, made me feel confident and was very encouraging, highly recommend the class, the facilities are really good too, cant wait for next weeks class :)

I took my 15 year old daughter for snowboard lessons yesterday, we both did our level one ... the instructor was brilliant.. my daughter wasn’t happy at first and I was very nervous initially, after the 2 hours we were both really enjoying it and booked our level 2 for next week.. all staff are friendly and helpful.. highly recommend the snowboard instruction

Had an absolutely fabulous day on the "learn to snowboard in a day" course. Our instructor Jenny was amazing!! All of the staff were super friendly! The lunch was delicious aswell! Would definitely recommend it to anyone, but prepare to ache the day after!!

Had a tubing / sledging party here today. Great value, very well organised with amazing staff who made it run very smoothly. Easily the best place I’ve held a birthday party. Would recommend!!

Booked my severely physically and mentally disabled 21 yr old son in for an hour one to one session with Disabled Sports UK instructor.I was very apprehensive as my son has complex needs having no speech or cognitive ability to understand what is being said to him and never done anything like this before. Paul the head instructor along with the other instructor were both so patient, caring and professional with my son. Having got him into a special seat and strapped him in very securely ( which is the bit I was worried about) off they went and the next thing we saw was him being pushed in the seat coming down the slope. He loved the sensory experience. It is amazing that this place can give someone with my sons level of disability the experience of going on the slopes and feel the speed and wind in his face. I can't rate this place highly enough for disabled uses.Will definitely be back with my son!

Booked my 15 year old daughter a one to one lesson as she is off to France next month with the school for her first skiing experience. She had been on a dry slope for practice but struggled and was lacking in confidence. The one to one lesson work wonders and by the end of the lesson my daughter was able to ski from the top to bottom turning nicely and controlling her speed. Money well spent. She now can’t wait to get to France. Her instructor was fantastic and the conditions were ideal. Would 100% visit again.

Booked in for a fun day at the SnowDome. It exceeded all expectations! I booked with Claire, and what a lovely, easy experience. My son is a little worrier and can get anxious about new things. Our first session was the swimming, tube and inflatable fun. This was well attended and a lot of fun! Our family were up and down the flame, joined in with the inflatable fun (a lot of laughs when people landed in the water before reaching the end!). The facilities were clean and well looked after and the staff were great. My son always love this session. After this we went tobogganing. My husband and I have never tried this before, but it was so much fun and excitement. My son was very anxious and one of the staff members, Edd, went down with him to show him the ropes. Whilst on the way up, my son wanted to turn around and did not want to go down the slopes! Edd calmed him down and talked him through it all. When sat down to start, my son wanted to get off, but again Edd calmed him down and he agreed to try. Off they went and we followed. When we got to the bottom, my son was over the moon that he tried; and said it was fun. Edd went down with him once more and let my son control the sledge. Again, he patiently talked him through it and my son loved it! The next time he was brave enough to go down on his own. I could not believe it, as he was so scared of it. This allowed me and my husband to also relax and enjoy ourselves. This time it was racing! and our son raced passed me and let it look like I was looking for a parking space. It was his best 30 minutes ever (his words) and I cannot thank Edd enough for the professional way he was handling my son's fears. This is now his new favorite activity and planning his birthday party on toboggans. Our next activity was the Ice Skating. Again, this was a very good session and the staff again was great. A special thanks to John Powell for showing us around and making us feel special. We enjoyed half an hour of snow fun and again, this is a really good activity for a family. We ended our day with a late lunch in the Aspen Restaurant and the food was amazing. I would like to say a special thanks to Louise and her team and compliments to the Chef! We were absolutely exhausted by the end of the day, but we had an amazing day and will definitely 100% visit the SnowDome again - definitely worth the 2 hour drive. Thank you so much for Team SnowDome for making our day special, but most of all for helping my son to overcome his fear of racing down a hill on a toboggan!

Wonderful experience with the new inflatable & Freddie, slightly more expensive for the session than usual but that’s understandable. Unsure what the alarm was we heard but the staff were on hand to herd us out of the pool & back in. The flume was as good as ever & i’d recommend this pool to all

Went sledging. Great for kids and adults alike. You get about 5 goes for a 30 minute slot. The bar and food area is ok. Feels a bit busy but service and food is reasonable.

The place is starting to look a little tired and needs more investment! That said... the staff were very friendly and happy to help. The food was great and the skiing was fun. We will be back again for sure but please start putting a little back into the place and bring it up to standard.

Pool with inflatables, who knew!?!? Awesome fun for the kids. Ice skating was great, but I don’t see why when you book an aid (penguin etc), you only get it for part of your booking slot. Taboganning was great fun too, just a longer session would be good. Great value for the day tickets though. Definitely wore the kids out!

My husband and I took our three children to the SnowDome for the first time on Sunday.



We went swimming which was fantastic for all age groups with the inflatable courses and flume.



Then we had a 30 minute snow play session booked which was (again) fantastic. However, the session was marketed and sold as a 30 minute snow play session but after around 23 minutes (I'm being generous with the time here), it was announced over the tannoy system that our session had come to an end and we were to leave. The staff then wasted no time in ushering everyone out. I understand that they have to get ready for the next group but to cut the session this short was a little disappointing.

Went ice skating, queues were pretty long but we got through them quickly, got skates with no problem, and the time we had was good, the issue we had was booking the skating aid for my daughter, we paid over £50 for the session and an additional £6 for her to have the skating aid ad she is 3 and it was her first time, but then to find out you only have it for 50 minutes, which then creates a problem for us for the rest of the session,

Nice afternoon but totally spoilt by the lack of security and cameras in the car park! My car along with numerous other was scratched by some mindless idiots with a sharp object. We asked the car park security if he had seen anything and he said sorry we’re understaffed and the few cameras are all pointing elsewhere? Mad our day about £500 more than it should have been.

We used the swimming pool today, couldn’t believe how dirty everything was, poo in the changing room, nappies left by the bin on the floor instead of in it, the floor was disgusting too! The kids pool was colder then the big pool today and the scummy marks around the edge of it made us get out before our session had ended! It’s really gone down hill, such a shame really

Pretty much a waste of a morning after travelling an hour , also £19 down the drain. Wouldnt recommend SnowPlay to anyone, boring boring boring. My 2 & 5 year old were bored after 5 mins. The only enjoyable thing was the tubing down the slide. Snow was more like ice also, wont be returning.
