Soas Armenian Society

The Armenian Society is a group of students who are interested in the history, language and culture of the Armenians - an Indo-European people who live both in the mountainous, former-USSR Republic of Armenia and to a larger extent in the global diaspora. The Society organises many stimulating, thought-provoking and interesting events throughout the year to display the rich historical, linguistic and cultural heritage of the Armenians, and to encourage and develop an understanding of their place in the wider world.
