Welcome to the Language Centre

NOW RECRUITING FOR TERM 1 2013 /14

NEW Arabic Conversation Club - First session is FREE

The Language Centre is unique, offering tuition within a wide range of languages, major international ones such as Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese and Korean as well as thirty-two languages of Asia and Africa (See Courses by Language on www. soas. ac. uk /languagecentre).

Most of the courses offered are scheduled evening or Saturday (AM or PM) courses with either one or two sessions per week, making it possible for working people to accommodate the learning of their target language whilst juggling with other demands on their time. Scheduled Easter and summer courses are additionally available for those who prefer a more intensive language-learning format.

Non-scheduled (one-to-one or small group) tuition can also be provided for those who have specific needs in terms of languageā€“learning requirements. This type of tuition can be delivered at SOAS or at the place of work (See Individually Tailored Tuition).
