Love the memory that popped up on my Facebook wall this morning. It's a review ftom my first custom order. Here's the review, the middle image in the 2nd picture is the design I created.

I've been cross stitching since I was a teenager and have loved every chart or kit I have purchased. Over the past few years I've dabbled at creating my own charts. So now I want this year to get creative and give designing my own charts a go. Now those that know me know I can't draw for toffee but with all the wonderful software available nowadays I don't have to be a genius drawer (Thank you software designers!😚). Today I thought that I would talk about why I'm so passionate about my cross stitching hobby and business. In today's world there is so much stress is our daily lives - everyone is so busy that they forgot to stop and take time to look themselves and acknowledge the pleasures in life. Well today I have finally completed a personalised artwork of a Bichon Frise dog for a regular customer of mine. The chart I stitched for my customer was not stitched by me (I feel it is very important to state this as I don't want to take away any glory from the designer. My customer contacted me asking if I would stitch this chart for her that she had found and really wanted it stitched for her as it was a very good likeness to her dog 'Katie'. In 2017 I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia which is chronic pain condition, I really find my cross stitching very helpful in keeping me sane while I learn to try to manage my pain and exhaustion.
