We are open as usual Saturday, the snow has now cleared and the course is fully playable. We know a number of courses are closed, we will be happy to accommodate your golfing fix. Twilight is still at 2pm which means you have plenty of time to get round and it costs just £6 per person. ⛳️🏌️‍♂️

Solent Meads would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We are open everyday over Christmas and New Year. Christmas Day is £5 per person for 18 holes, a mince pie and a hot drink!

We had to unfortunately postponed our Christmas Competition and get together due to the weather. We have rearranged it for Tuesday 15th January.

The weather was awful yesterday, you would not think so when you go on the course, there is not a puddle in sight! We are open till dark everyday, quote "FACEBOOK" today for a special price of £5 per person.

We are open every day over Christmas and New Year, even Christmas Day! Everyone is welcome, all ages and all abilities. We are blessed with dry ground so whatever the weather the course will be playable and no winter greens, guaranteed! We hope to see you sometime over the holidays!

We have had some vandalism at the course on both Friday night and Monday night, between 4.30pm and 8am the next day.... This anti social behaviour involved the smashing of 10 of our fibre glass golf flags, it looks like the individual(s) kicked/stamped the flag when still in position in the hole.
Unfortunately, early on Tuesday before we had opened at 9am one of our customers, an 84 year old gentleman had to go to hospital to remove fibre glass splinters from his hand when he was getting his ball out of the hole.
All this is very unnecessary and very sad when an elderly man gets hurt in the process, thankfully, he is ok now but it is an ordeal he should not have to go through.
We have contacted the police, but if anyone in the Hengistbury Head area witnessed anything on these two evenings please call the golf course on 01202 420795.

WE ARE OPEN! 9am to dark 7 days a week.
Despite the bad wet weather over the past few weeks the course is open and will remain open, it is 100% playable with no temporary greens and will stay so through the winter. We will not close unless there is snow on the ground, guaranteed.
... Twilight is at 2pm and is just £6 per person for unlimited golf.

The cafe is open 9am to dark everyday of the year. Why not try one of our tasty egg and bacon baps with a fresh coffee. Whether you are passing or having a game of golf.

We are open all day (from 8,30am - dark) everyday this week. Take advantage of the great weather this 1/2 term. Twilight is from 3pm and is just £6 per person. The greens are great and the course is in fabulous condition and we hope to see you. HAPPY GOLFING

Tuckton Bridge has reopened early, you no longer need to take an alternative route to get to us when travelling from Christchurch direction, the inconvenience is over (for now!).

Despite the wet weather this week the course is open and playable, as the course drains so well it will remain playable over the weekend if we have further rain. Many coarses in the area will be shut or unplayable this Easter weekend, if this is the case all are welcome at Solent Meads, no booking or tee time is required. *TUCKTON BRIDGE WILL BE CLOSED FOR TWO WEEKS*
If you use Tuckton Bridge to get to us you will need to use the diversion from Barrack Road to Iford Roundabout, turning left onto Iford Lane, which then leads all the way to Tuckton where you then turn left, you will then find yourself at Tuckton Roundabout on the other side of the bridge/river.

We are fully open today, course is dry and in good condition, twilight is from 3pm.....just £5 per person.

Solent Meads Golf Centre is open today. The course is clear of snow, we however have a problem of ice on the greens. You are welcome to play the course today, it will be fully open tomorrow (Sunday). The driving range is fully open today! Hope to see you!

Weather looking OK for the next few days, hope to see some of you soon.
Please spread the word we are open and the course is playable, so many people are unaware how ell the course drains and presume we are closed due to the recent wet weather.
