Glastonbury festival attendees will be able to buy sandwiches in 100% compostable packaging.
The sandwiches will be sold by the co-op, and all parts of the packaging, including the transparent film, will be compostable.
The festival has already banned single-use plastic bottles from the event this year.

Many people think that each country recycles all of its own plastic, but this isn't the case. 😮

Sainsbury’s has launched a trial that pays customers 5p for every plastic bottle or drinks can they recycle in the store.
The scheme involves a reverse vending machine, which customers put up to 500 bottles or cans into, and then they are rewarded with a voucher.
It is currently being trialled at a store in Lincoln and could be rolled out to other stores in the future.
