Solesee's aim is to help reduce the number of avoidable foot problems associated with diabetes related complications. Diabetes UK latest figures (2018) are there are 169 lower limb amputations due to diabetes related complications every week in England - 80% of those could be prevented. We developed the Solesee Foot Inspection Mirror to make it easier for people with diabetes to check their feet - this isn't always easy due to mobility or flexibility issues. This device empowers those with diabetes to take control of their foot health by quickly and easily being able to carry out a daily foot check. Solesee also provide education on caring for your feet, particularly if they are considered to be of high risk due to conditions such as neuropathy.
