HAVING TROUBLE FINDING A PLACE TO WATCH THE FOOTBALL? With England reaching the semi-final for the first time in 28 years everyone has caught football fever so pubs are overflowing, overbooked and overcharging! Our advice, find a local pub in a neighbourhood where people live, not work! Avoid places like London Bridge, the City and Covent Garden. Neighbourhoods like Clapham, Battersea and Kennington are a better bet cause you can grab a table before everyone gets home from work.

This year has been a time of a lot of firsts. My first time traveling abroad completely on my own, my first time studying in London and my first time traveling to Greece and going to Greece with SomewhereNew. The collaborative efforts of Susannah's charisma and the hands-on itinerary provided by SomewhereNew gave me the chance to embrace authentic Greek culture. I was able to interact with the locals, eat home cooked meals and go on adventures and see sights that exceeded any expectation I might have had beforehand. Thanks to Susannah, my friends and I will never forget this trip. We laughed, we danced, we ate and we hiked and every moment of this trip made us all grow fonder of the culture and of SomewhereNew. Susannah won over our hearts with her dedication to making everyone's trip the absolute best, and her genuine attitude made everyday that much more enjoyable. I definitely plan to go on another trip through this company, easily the best decision my friends and I have ever made.

This is an AMAZING company. They have a huge variety of trips, ranging from a simple day trip to week long international spring break holidays. I was fortunate enough to be able to take trips to Ireland and Scotland with them, as well as some smaller tours (the Harry Potter tour was one of my favorite tours I took my entire semester!). I've traveled on my own and with Somewhere New and can honestly say it's a great price for all the activities and travel. Because many trips have their own coach bus, you get to see things 1-2 hours outside of major that you would never be able to see on your own without paying a hefty price. The tours are very structured and organized, which is nice because you don't have to do any planning and get so much done even in one weekend trip! Tour guides are all amazing and extremely friendly, funny people. I can't rave about this company enough, it is such a great idea for students studying abroad and everyone should take advantage! If you're scared about traveling outside your host country alone this is the perfect company, so many other study abroad students take these trips that you're never really alone, especially when making friends is super easy! I wish I could give constructive criticism, but I truly have nothing negative to say. So glad a company like this exists!

Just spent a week in Greece with somewhere new. Absolute blast and very well organized. 10/10 reccomend.

If you want an experience that beautifully integrates you into another culture and exposes you to a whole new world, book a tour with SomewhereNew. I went on the Greece trip to Athens, Ios, and Santorini with Susannah (owner) and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I have visited Greece before but did not have nearly the same type of exposure. In Athens, I learned the history of the Acropolis and how it shaped such a global city. In Ios, my friends and I made such strong relationships with the locals that it convinced us we would one day be back. In Santorini, we were able to experience the tourist life of shopping and Greek night life.

Susannah was very helpful throughout the entire trip. She took us to all the right places in order for us to properly experience life in Greece. It was more than a tour - the entire trip was spent laughing, dancing, smiling, talking, having deep conversations while we watched the sun set at the top of a church in Ios, life revelations that will follow us back to our respective homes, and more. My friends and I have already decided we will be using Susannah’s services for future excursions as she was the best person to show us life beyond our dorm room walls.

I was incredibly fortunate to get to work with Susannah on countless group trips and individual experiences for students (and myself) for 5+ years..thank you for everything. Amazing blue-badge guides and personal touch company, who always went WAY above and beyond. I would never hesitate to recommend to academic groups or solo adventurers to London, for really digging into the cultures and history and magic of my favourite city. And, of course, for exploring the rest of the UK and heading further afield (many Paris memories!).

I recently went on the Harry Potter experience on March 19, and it was amazing. Our guide (unfortunately I forgot his name) was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the series. I had a fantastic time seeing different places where Harry Potter was filmed, culminating in the studio tour. I would definitely recommend this tour, and all others I've been one.

Been on two week long trips with this company and loved both each time!
