جمعية أبناء الجنوب في لندن كيان مدني مستقل غير سياسي وغير حكومي تعتمد العمل الخيري والطوعي في نشاطاتها وتتمتع بشخصية أعتبارية ذات استقلال مالي واداري ويحق لها التصرف قانونيا بما يرد بالنفع العام لاعضاء الجمعية.
الجمعية تمثل غالبية أبناء الجنوب بمكوناتهم المختلفة وبغض النظر عن اعتباراتهم أو معتقداتهم السياسيه وتعبرعن وحدتهم الوطنية ومصالحهم المشتركة وتتمثل اهداف ومهاما في الاتي:
العمل على تقوية الروابط الاخوية بين اعضاء الجمعية بكل مكوناتهم ومشاربهم المختلفة
القيام بمختلف الانشطة ذات الطابع الخيري والثقافي والاجتماعي .
. المشاركة في الانشطة في المناسبات الوطنية والدينية
. والقادمين الجدد الاهتمام بمشاكل وهموم أبناء الجنوب
. العمل على دعم وتطوير مهارات وكفاءات أبناء الجنوب وفق الامكانات المتاحة
التعاون مع المؤسسات المدنية والحكومية بما يخدم مصالح أبناء الجنوب.
. العمل على تعريف المجتمع بحضارة وتاريخ الجنوب وتقاليد مكوناته المختلفة
العمل على تقوية الروابط الاسرية بين أبناء الجنوب وخاصة الجيل الثاني منهم بالوطن الام.

Sons of the South association in London is an independent civilian entity that is non-political, non-governmental and supports charitable work, voluntary activities and enjoys a legal personality with financial and administrative independence. It holds the right of disposal and includes a legal benefit to all members
The association represents the majority of southerners living in London and appreciates their differences and varying components regardless of their beliefs or political considerations while reflecting national unity and all common interests

The purpose and functions of the association as following:
-Work to strengthen ties between the brotherly people of the south regardless of different inclinations by partaking in various activities of a charitable, cultural and social nature.
-Represent the association among British institutions .
-Participate in activities on national and religious occasions .
-Attend to problems and concerns of the members of the association
-Work to support and develop the skills and competencies of the members according to the resources available.
-Cooperate with British civil institutions as well as the government to serve the interests of the association.
-Work on the definition of the British society and civilization of Southern History and traditions of the various components.
-Work to strengthen ties between the brotherly people of association and especially those of the second generation.
-Work to open channels of communication between the association and civil institutions at home and abroad to serve the interests of the South.
