About Soos Mobile Cat Grooming - Sue Grant

Qualified, insured Master Cat Groomer accredited by the Pet Industry Federation grooming in the stress-free comfort of your precious cats home

Soos Mobile Cat Grooming - Sue Grant Description

The cats coat is its most admired feature therefore having it groomed regularly is very beneficial. If it becomes matted or dull it is important to have it groomed as soon as possible. Don't forget short haired cats need grooming too.

I operate a mobile service specialising in cat grooming without sedation or anaesthetics, working for short periods of time, guided by the cat’s temperament and allowing for rest in between each session. Most matts can be combed out but in the most severe cases clipping off may be the only option. My aim is to negate the need for unnecessary sedation and anaesthesia for basic coat care issues.

In operating a mobile service I have found this far less stressful for cats who do not like to be separated from their owners, therefore the cat is far more confident.

For most cats, taking your cat to a salon can result in it being stressed before it even arrives due to the car journey. Then it has to deal with all the different scents and smells of dogs and other cats which can frighten and panic the cat before you even start to groom. I want to help you and your cat avoid any unnecessary stress.

With a mobile service once the groom is over the ordeal is over for the pet and owner, with no stressful car journey before and after.

I also offer cat sitting (in your own home) for local clients (within 8 mile radius of Fleet) if your cat does not settle in a cattery and you would prefer your pet to stay at home.

Whether you require grooming for your cat or cover whilst you are on holiday, I can help you. I provide a mobile service for you and your cat's convenience, and all services are provided in the comfort of your very own home.

Do have a look at my website for further details on services offered, thank you.

Thank you Kate for forwarding these pictures of your gorgeous boy during his last groom!
This is Mylo, 18 months old, a White Nevada Masquerade Siberian boy, isn’t he stunning. I only groom two others of this colour (many Siberians though). He is confident, super friendly and jumps up onto my table ready for his groom!

Hi folks, just a heads up I am going to be away on holiday from 21st February returning to work 9th March, yes it's a big holiday for a big birthday (not until later in the year though, haha!) 🐳 🐋

Another visit to Beaconsfield to give a teddy bear clip to gorgeous Bertie and MJ. Their Mum, Lesley has kindly sent me some pictures to post 😻
These boys do go outside so a teddy bear clip suits them all, they keep warm and their Mum can keep on top of their coats!

Love this, made me laugh as my own Archie snores ... loudly. Does your fur baby snore too?

Sadly I am reporting the loss of one of my two oldest clients.
Katana was 24.5 years old, born on 21/6/1995. She lived a very long and happy life with her Mum, Shelly and family. She was fit and well until very recently, which is what we would hope for all our fur babies. Rest easy gorgeous x
I have told my own Basil he has only just hit middle age at 16 xxx

When you groom a cat and can make another one from the dead hair removed 😂😂😂

I met up last week with handsome Persian Bentley who lives in Bracknell with his Mum, Lorraine and siblings. He will be 2 in May so is probably not quite full grown yet, a lovely big boy 😻
This visit was to give him a full clip as he had got a bit matted and as an indoor cat he would be fine with this.
He was very well behaved and got a gold star for his behaviour ⭐️

Well I don’t give up easily but am starting to feel “what next”?
Hit a pot hole on my way to first client this morning causing a flat (torn!) tyre on the M4. Scary as they are converting to a ‘smart’ motorway so no hard shoulder 🤦‍♀️
AA could not help as it had to be the Emergency Recovery service on the motorway. They were quite good actually and got me to a garage for a new tyre. However I lost 3 hours, cost of a new tyre and 2 cats could not be groomed. I’ve managed to ...groom 3 of the 5 booked thank goodness!
Right no more excitements please!!

Guess the breed!!!!
I met up with this gorgeous fluff ball again today, she is 9 months old and called Brillo!!!
I have attached a couple of pictures from different angles to help you identify her breed, her Mum also sent me a couple after the groom showing just how relaxed she was about the whole affair! Good luck!

Aw, St Kitts put up a picture on their own FB page of my Basil when he was in for a heart scan recently, so love this boy xxx

User

Well ... having been full of good intentions to get my admin up-to-date yesterday, we had a 'bit of an incident' in our village meaning we got evacuated at 0630!
Saturday was written off but at least our house is still standing and we and our cats are safe!
Please bear with me as playing catch up as best I can, thank you x

User

Bless this gorgeous furry purry boy! I don’t see him very often now he’s moved away but delighted to meet up with Oink again this week. Almost a whole cat removed this visit!

User

Seen before but so love this had to share with you. What do you think they are chatting about? 😻

User

Well cat stopped admin 😻 anyone still waiting for a response I will get back to you, been 2 long 6 day weeks with just Sundays for housework, shopping and admin, phew!

Earlier this week I met up again with young Dobby, a gorgeous black & chocolate Persian/Ragdoll X 18 month old boy. He is the sweetest cat, and this visit was to give him a full groom with a couple of matts to remove under his armpits and groin area. His Mum, Shelly, kindly sent me a couple of pictures of this gorgeous boy during his groom (please excuse the state of the groomer who had got very wet and windswept on her way in!!!).

Awful weather and traffic hold ups today with lane closure on M3 this morning 🤦‍♀️
Eventually made it to Petra’s in Twickenham somewhat late to groom her gorgeous girl Binki. She is 3.5 year old Siberian golden tabby.
After her pamper session she posed for her Mum to take some pictures, which she has kindly forwarded to me to share with you. Kinda makes the rubbish outside unimportant when I have such beautiful cats to groom, hope you enjoy too 😻

Thumb a bit sore after a cat got a claw down the side of my nail a few days ago 😢. Soak, squeeze, dress and carry on! Trials and tribulations of being a cat groomer!
