Hello customers if your not aware had a little accident on easter Monday and fell off a roof, but making a very good recovery and hoping to be up and about in august . So please don't write me off just yet HA HA
Hello Ladies and Gents . I am not sure if you are aware that I had put myself in hospital after falling off a roof. But I am now into recovery, and will be back to Full Health in August. I hope that if you require a sweep you can wait until this month, if not and find another sweep I wish you well. I enjoy sweeping for all my customers and lucky that you put up with eccentric ways. Thank you for your patience
Still working as a sweep, but was surprised when a gas fitter I have worked with rang and asked me why I had stopped working? So please get the message out there, I do the best job I can for my customers and keep the price low, and fit my time into yours.
Happy New Year everyone and a big thank you to Plymouth Fire and Flues, who really gave time to help me and give advice, so Richard Simpson and lovely Sue have a great New Year.
Another year has past, and I would like to thank all my customers for their loyalty in me in trusting to sweep their chimney's. So to all have a Happy Christmas and also a great New Year. Thanks again, and take care, 😉😉😉
Just returned home from France helping out a friend and fixing his fire so I am now an INTERATIONAL SWEEP!!
So Summer has arrived but if you need any repair work to clean off weed on your stack or a new chimney pot, or cowl now is the time to do so. If I can reach your stack I can do the work.
Just like to add that I replace chimney cowls for £140 and a normal chimney pot for the same price. If you can find this price any cheaper I will match.I am also willing to travel from North Devon To Dartmouth to Newquay This is completed on ladders and only need the post code to view the home from Google Maps.
Christmas is over and I wish all a Happy ,Healthy New Year
I was informed by a customer that I have a 3.1 star review?? She informed me that 3 customers had decided to review me of which I got a 5 star!! a 4 star!! Ad lastly a 1 Star so to the customer who gave me this I can only say I'm sorry if you have had a bad experience. Now my target is to get a better review and push the boundaries. I also put on new cowls £140 all in. and also pots £140 all in
The season is starting and now waitng for the phone to ring.
Haven't put anything in recently, so this is just a note to say that I am still sweeping and still £30 I will not increase my charge, and now believe to be the cheapest in Plymouth possibly Devon and Cornwall so if you want an honest sweep who will do his utmost and not worry about how long it takes . Please call or pass the word around. With thanks
I don't know but having trouble understanding how to read message and notifications on this site, but still busy although it is now going a little quiet , that still means there are people who need a sweep especially now that the end of the fire season looming. Still £30 and will not change. THANKS
Haven't written on this for a while but have been reminded about other sweeps working the same patch , most are charging between £45 to £50 a chimney. I haven't put my charges up and will still be £30 so if you are thinking about a sweep please call, or if you are aware of your friends want one please give them my number , always appreciated.I work weekends and not worriee about time only not to early. HA Ha
Well I hope all have had a Merry Xmas. The New Year is always a challenge and so I hope all will have a good and profitable one. Unfortunately the "motor" has decided to misbehave. Can't get her running and with a flat battery and now I think I will have to prime the injectors as there doesn'tseem enough fuel coming to the engine. To tell you all the truth HAVEN'T GOT A CLUE WHAT I'm TALKING ABOUT. BUT HAVE AHAPPY NEW YEAR and with luck hope to see you in the coming season .
Not the best day today. I think I should have stayed in bed. Working in a lovely home sweeping her chimney, and just hovered up some warm embers from the fire. All is good but suddenly there is smoking in the room, the smoke alarm is sounding and I have my head in the fire thinking "Is there a chimney fire?" Can't really see where the smoke is coming from.Got me stumpt for a minute until I decide to switch of my vacuum. Bloody hell its on FIRE!!! YES folks a hot ember had done the trick!!! The customer did laugh although there was some smelly smoke in her house. Well that's £100 to repair it . Amateur sweeps who'd have em!!!
Haven't been on here for a while, but I can say it has been a busy time, not really for sweeping but mostly for a shop which has "adopted" me, installing chimney pots, cowls , etc. But I still have the loyal customers who have been with me from my infancy, so I must be doing alright . So just a note if there are people who want a sweep, need chimney pots or cowls please give me a shout you will find that I only charge £60 to put on a cowl, or a chimney pot, I am the cheapest in the whole South West area, With thanks for your continued support.
