Steve and I enjoyed a fab evening with Sophie, Amelia and Ed and 8 other students at the Middle Eastern cookery class last night. I left full of ideas having had a great evening with a lovely group of people, all expertly guided by the lovely team. We'll be back. Thank you x

So, I should mention straight away, that one of the team at the cookery school is a friend; she's been telling me for ages that I should do one of the classes, so a couple of weeks ago I did. Oh my goodness! It was really really wonderful. I was expecting good instruction, and the menu in advance sounded great (a range of vegetarian dishes), but I wasn't expecting to have quite so much fun.

Sophie was lovely, and very kind, and very patient(!). She talked through all of the recipes, talked through each stage, and answered the long list of questions we all had.

At the end of 3 hours of joyful cooking whilst learning new skills and discovering new ingredients, we all sat down to a wonderful, tasty feast; eating everything we had cooked - it was wonderful, and I can't wait for their next vegetarian class!

I just spent the day with Sophie at her pop up cooking school in Oxford and I have to say it was an incredible experience. The tuition I received was wonderful and the final product of our hard work was delicious. I am a complete cooking novice but I found myself leaving inspired and more confident to try new things. Sophie is surrounded by a team of people who are kind, knowledgable and friendly. It makes a perfect day out for anyone no matter what cooking experience you have! Inspirational, fun and educational. What a good mix.

I have attended a few cookery classes and thoroughly enjoyed each one. The classes are small enough that you can ask questions. They are suitable for all abilities from beginners to someone who wants to expand their cooking experience. You are involved from the start in cooking at least three different dishes. All the while getting tutelage from Sophie or one of the guest chefs.

At the end of the class you get to sit down and enjoy the rewards of your cooking.

A very relaxed and enjoyable way to learn.

Looking forward to the new schedule to book my next class.
