What is the most ridiculous argument you've had in your band - (give us the juice!!!)

You will not find a better value for money rehearsal studio than this one! Been using it for almost a year now and we wouldn't go anywhere else. Great equipment really well looked after and the staff are fantastic and really supportive of their bands. Couldn't recommend highly enough

Well done to Sound Inc Studio! I visited for the first time this week when my son had a drum exam. Along with the wonderful warm welcome and relaxing Hawaiian-themed décor which put my son (who's 11 and was a bit nervous) at ease, the studios were very well set up and resourced, so he could practice and warm up before the exam. We're still waiting for the results, but my son felt he's done well in his exam and I think much of this was down to feeling relaxed beforehand. Thanks to Luke and the team for a brilliant experience and a well run operation!

Very professional rehearsal rooms. High quality backline and everything kept in perfect working order. Friendly and helpful staff with a well stocked tuck shop and a wide range of accessories for sale for when you forget your leads, sticks or picks. Free caffeine is always a big plus for those of us who drag ourselves in after a day at work

Top rehearsal rooms, great drum gear, clean & well organised. Plenty supplies in the shop & Luke always obliges with a free round of tea/coffees. Always get well looked after here & open everyday. Its simply the place to practise in a great environment. Hat's off to Sound inc. Just keeps getting better. 5 star service.

Sound Inc. has a number of really good rooms to rehearse in. The sound you get there is better than anywhere else we've been. I'd really recommend people give it a go because I doubt you'll find a better sound anywhere else in the NE.

I’ve been playing guitar for about 10 years, and it’s been roughly 5 years since I’ve played with other musicians in any sort of band. Recently me and a few friends got together and decided it would be fun to have a jam and play a few songs we all liked, so we booked a room at Sound Inc.



The first time I turned up I was feeling pretty self conscious and pretty out of practice, but straight away all of us were made to feel welcome by Luke, even such a simple gesture of offering a tea or coffee really makes the difference.



I’ve been in two of the rooms, one upstairs and one downstairs; personally I prefer the downstairs room but in terms of setup (at least for guitar) they’re identical.



The rooms are set up in a circle; They contain a drum kit, 3 cabs/heads (two guitar, one bass), several mics all with stands, PA system with mixing desk, and several other bits and bobs (stools, guitar stands mounted to the walls, sheet music stands etc.)



The heads for the guitars are either Orange or Marshall from what I’ve seen, I prefer the Marshall head (which I believe is an AVT) because I have a Marshall amp myself and am more familiar with the tone.



I’ve been several times now, and will continue to return!

Sound Inc is such a warm and welcoming place with fantastic staff and quality good quality gear. The drum kits don’t feel like they’re falling apart and the amps work (which seems a rarity in practice spaces these days).



It has it’s own chill out zone with N64 and PS1 which is great if you’re doing long rehearsals and need a break.



Sound Inc sells various bits of musical gear as well (drum sticks, drum heads, strings, leads + various other bits and bobs) which has been a life saver on occasions.



Luke also makes an absolute banging cuppa so what’s not to like?

Sound Inc is not like any other practice room I’ve been to. As a drummer, drum kits at practice studios are always neglected and dropping to bits. Not here. Luke and the Sound Inc team have all the gear, and all the idea too. Drum kits are great, the rooms are great, and a mid-session tea breaks is always great too!

My band Edenthorn have rehearsed for the last 5 years (and counting) at Sound Inc Studios and despite it not being very local to 3 of our members, it's always worth the trip up the motorway twice a week. Luke and his staff are always friendly and supportive people, even regularly offering encouraging words of advice, motivating us in our musical journey. It's never just a case of, 'Hi, enjoy your rehearsal guys' and then you pay your money and leave. They always try to put time aside to chat to their customers (bands/musicians) and show an interest in what we're actually there for, what goals we have or even just to generally ask how we're doing personally/professionally. No complaints here 10/10.

Amazing high spec spaces with high quality drums, amps and PA systems. Luke's worked super hard in creating a great atmosphere in each rehearsal space and offers everythkng from a fully working kitchen with food and drink to a fully stocked shop of all things musical.

Great practice room that Creature have been using since we started. The set up in every room is great and suits the different shape/sizes, and Luke is always super helpful be it through offering advice on set up/gear/music, offering tea/coffee, or just having a bit of banter. Always enjoy practicing here.

Great place to rehearse. Nice cuppa at half time and a great shop for bits and bobs. Good location and loads of parking. Backline is great and prices are very reasonable. Thanks Luke for providing a great practice place...

After meeting Luke many years ago, Sound Inc has been my go to place when filming bands in a studio environment. The good size rooms have also helped create some more ambitious set ups for shoots. Perfect for film and photography sessions. Always a great atmosphere and its been amazing seeing the passion thats gone into developing the entire building. Easily the coolest and most unique place around for everything band related.

A great rehearsal space where attention to detail is obviously a strong point. The rooms are spacious, clean and filled with good quality new equipment. A free hot drink is always given at each rehearsal and the friendly staff take care of all your needs. I would recommend using Sound Inc for a great experience.
