Unfortunately 2 days into my weeks holiday I developed severe toothache, not knowing where to go I found this practice on the internet and decided upon it after reading all the positive reviews. They were not wrong!
Everybody, the receptionists, the dental nurse and the dentist (Dr Tanya Henshaw) were absolutely lovely, I was very nervous but they all put me at ease and were very reassuring.
I would even consider the 180 mile journey every time I need to see a dentist as ones like these are hard to find. Thank You for your kindness.

Fabulous practice, really friendly and efficient reception staff. I booked my appointment for treatment and I received a text 2 days before, not only that I received a phone call from the surgery the day after my treatment to make sure that everything was ok. Both Dr Rochester and Dr Glenning took time to explain in full my treatment and I was delighted with the results. Reception is bright and airy and even if you are the most nervous patient you instantly feel at ease. I was even offered a cup of tea. If you are looking for dental treatment whether it is a check up or for more complicated treatment or even cosmetic treatments then I would highly recommend South Devon Dental. Very friendly staff right from the start of me joining the practise. Recognising how nervous I was as soon as i arrived helping me thorough this on my every visit. If you are at all nervous then this is the place to try and overcome them. Really pleased and highly recommended

Practice looks amazing following the refurbishment, beautifully decorated throughout and now has background music in all rooms which is nice and relaxing .
Reception staff friendly and make you feel at ease, dentist has Superb chair side manner.
I had pain in my tooth and couldn’t bite properly , I saw the root canal specialist Jonathon who Explained the procedure in an understandable manner and carried out the procedure in a very professional but friendly way . I now have no pain and can bite on an apple !!

Both my wife & I needed some treatment, so not being from around here I asked a friend for any recommendations and they sent us here. All I can say is I'm SO happy they did!!! I was given an appointment for the very next morning (yesterday) where I had one cracked tooth rebuilt & one new filling done. Quick, easy & painless!!

My wife needed a filling re-done and a general check-up, particularly of her bottom wisdom teeth as they were giving her some discomfort. Ex-ray showed one of them coming in at an angle which they surgically removed this morning!

All in all a very satisfying experience all round with an extremely nice, polite & professional crew!

Fantastic dental practice. Very professional and polite staff, really happy with my treatment so far. Dr Rochester has been extremely patient with me as I'm not the easiest patient to deal with!! Would recommend to anyone looking for high quality dental treatment!

As a nervous patient and with her previous dentist 45 years, when he retired my mum was upset. But at South Devon Dental, the dentist she now sees is very reassuring and someone she would recommend.

Highly personable staff, well led, tastefully decorated and real efforts made to make it feel like a pleasant experience rather than a routine requirement. Well done!
