South Lakeland Leisure Village

Plus sides -Lodge itself very nice, good modern facilities/cracking view over the lake. Restaurant- bar -swimming pool & leisure facilities all spot on !
Negatives- road layout / surface poor ! Site lighting Very poor. Info to find lodge poor (No number on ours ! )
No info pack in the lodge to say how appliances / heating worked !
Decking around whole lodge had green algae all over it ( very slippery / DANGEROUS! ). Power kept cutting out when it rained due to no cover on outside fuse box ,DID report but nothing was done !
Apart from these points it's a good location for touring the NW & the Lake's

Nice roast beef sandwich, deep filled with plenty of delicious tender beef, served with a generous salad and fries. Good value at the price, washed down with a perfectly served G&T. Add to that the delightful lakeside table on the patio, what more could you ask for

Went there with my partner Christopher Hartley, had lunch with his parents and friends Anne and Peter, the food was excellent and the survive was first class

Beautiful scenery great veiws very quite lots of wild life wonderful cabins a must for a restful break

If staying here you've hit a goldmine. This place is fabulous. Quiet and beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

A quiet lodge park with good amenities and views . Also near to local eateries and children's farms and attractions.

Nice location and great facilities

Holidayed there the weekend of the 23/24th July. Excellent lodge (bad weather boo). On site facilities were very good, could have done with a slightly larger menu choice. Will definitely come again though.
