My brother hired a car from south Mids. in Hemel Hempstead the service he received was poor Michal advised the deposit will be returned within 3-5 days of collecting the car from them. The first car he hired they called and said we need the car back because we have sold it. fair enough when he took the car back Scott tried to charge for a extra day hire. after a discussion he agreed to continue with the original hire terms and price.
The car was due to be returned on a Friday afternoon at 5 o'clock at 9am that morning south mids took £120.00 from the bank account without authorisation. When he contacted them the passed the buck to someone in another branch Milton Keynes. and could not provide the name of the person who took the payment. onto the deposit the car was returned 2 weeks ago after 5 days contacted South Mids. Hemel Branch and Scott advised checks and clearance has to be done this was all done and cleared he advised money will be in bank in 3 days this has been 2 weeks now. phoned Scott who said all I can do is apologise and the money will be in your account tomorrow where is the money in South Mids. Owners pocket.!!! If I don't receive the money by Friday this week I will be passing to my solicitors for legal action to be taken against their company .

Booked a truck turned up for collection, the guy didnt know nothing about it.
Tried to sort one out for me totally unroadworth it.
The managing director thinks is untouchable.
In the end i went somewhete else to hire.
I had to use legal action to recover my deposit.

The team are enthusiastic and positively ooze customer service - the vehicles are clean and tidy - though I've marked this down by one star because sometimes previous hirers don't get the vehicles back on time. However, the company sends out people to get the vehicles back asap and will make amends if travel plans are affected.

Nothing is too much trouble and I'd recommend them to anyone - I'm a repeat customer and I can be very picky!
