We recently hired Drake motorhome (06/07 - 16/07) for a French chateau adventure in Normandie and Brittany. The motorhome was superb! in fantastic pristine clean condition, very well equipped and lovely to drive. We went as a family of four inc our two grown up children (16 & 21) and we had ample room as it was very spacious! Julian was extremely helpful all the way through our booking, collection and return and nothing was too much trouble, we had a fantastic holiday and will most certainly be hiring again! South West Camper Hire is an absolutely outstanding, customer-focused company. We had a fantastic four day Easter break touring around Devon and Cornwall in a VW T5. The van we hired was immaculate and in perfect working order - it had everything we needed on board and looked extremely cool which was a bonus..Julian could not have been more helpful, taking great care to make sure we felt very confident before we set off. I would definitely recommend this company highly..

Great Service, Great People & A Great Holiday. This was our first Motorhome Holiday so we needed some proper advice from the experts! On talking with Julian you can tell his passion for the provision of great customer service, accurate information and sharing experiences! We made our enquiry mid season but due to poor health had to cancel. We did however decide to head out to the wild yonder in Feb 2018, we made our booking and selected our Motorhome, Kingsley was our chosen machine. Big and strong Kingsley did not let us down. As a disabled traveller I use a mobility scooter, fitted perfectly in the “garage” at the end of the Motorhome. Luxury throughout, beautifully detailed and everything you could need onboard. We were blown away by just how comfortable, warm (yes, warm, on occasions HOT, the heating system is fantastic and works so well) and easy to setup and function while touring. We completed a little over 1600 miles in our two weeks - Devon to Penrith onto Loch Ness then Aviemore then Aberdeen then Ravenglass and finally back home to Devon, these were enjoyable and comfortable miles! We wanted for nothing while touring and learned a few things as we went (you’ll have to read the blog for all the details) We loved this holiday, we have been so fortunate and have had holidays all over the world, this one however is up there with the best. Utterly relaxing, utterly comfortable and utterly “doing it again!”. We’ve booked for April, another two weeks touring! Thank you Julian and thanks to your support team. We have loved this holiday like no other and have been bitten by the Motorhome bug! See you in April for the next chapters!!

As my wife won the competition naturally we took up the offer. We run a campsite of our own in Cornwall and see camper vans each year many on hire. We had never thought about using one ourselves.
