About Southall Butchers

We are a family run working farm. In 1999 we decided to sell our own lambs direct to the consumer, and being such a success, we decided to expand the range of meat available and diversify further, opening Southall Butchers shop.

“Know your meat’s journey from farm to plate”

Our aim is to offer the highest quality British produce. 90% of the produce offered by Southall Butchers is sourced directly from our own farm whilst the remainder is sourced from fully traceable suppliers within neighbouring parishes.

Just a quick thankyou to all of those individuals who took the time on a blustery spring day to attend our Annual Sue Ryder Charity Lambing Open Day yesterday.
After alot of hardwork by the team headed by Theresa, we managed to give those who attended a brief insight into the workings of a true family farm and British Agriculture , and as an added bonus the opportunity to witness first hand, nature bringing new lives into the world.
In total throughout the 5 hrs of the open d...ay, 10 lambs were successfully produced by 5 ewes, all healthy and now suckling , with many more born throughout the night and this morning.
It was a pleasure educating those who attended about sheep husbandry and welfare and hope you all benefited.
In due course we will post on social media/ our website the amount generously donated to the Sue Ryder - St. John's, Moggerhanger.
Thankyou once again from the Southall Family and look forward to welcoming you in our Farm Butchery in the future.
Just a few shots of some of the new arrivals from yesterday.

The lambing opening day was lovely today! Great fun for the kiddies (and adults!), with plenty to do. We were lucky enough to see a lamb being born and loved bottle feeding and cuddling them too. I hope plenty was raised for a good cause. Well done to everyone involved x

User

Lovely meat, good prices and a personal touch from the butcher. Highly recommend the breakfast sausages and the smoked bacon! Better than any supermarket in-house "top brand".

User

Lovely meat, especially the beef. Great butcher too.

User

Had a boned and rolled Turkey for Christmas. I don't usually like Turkey that much but it was great, moist and tasty. Was first time I had brought from them but have since tried the Gammon, rolled pork and lamb joints and sausages - all very good.

User

Great day seeing the lambs today. My family absolutely loved it. Thank you for a great day. We hope you raised lots of money for a great charity. X
