🎶Hello to all Freshers-congratulations on your results and welcome to Southampton!🎶
Freshers week is an amazing chance to check out all the societies on offer so here's a heads up on Sinfonietta (a music society you won't want to miss!) We are a dedicated chamber orchestra meeting once a week, playing fun repertoire in concerts four times a year. Look out for us at the bunfight to sign up for auditions to be a part of the orchestra next year! Join us for good tunes, friendly people and fun socials!

*SUSinfonietta are looking for a new Assistant Conductor for the year 2019/20*
SUSinfonietta is the university’s only auditioned chamber orchestra. They perform four concerts over the course of the academic year and rehearse on a Thursday evening. The role is unpaid.
Audition date (not flexible): Sunday 28th April 3-4pm.... The four shortlisted candidates will rehearse SUSinfonietta for 15 minutes each. Each candidate will be assigned 1 or 2 movements from Bizet's Petite Suite for Orchestra to rehearse.
To apply, please email susinfonietta@gmail.com and request for the information and terms document, and the application form. You must then email your completed application form to susinfonietta@gmail.com by Saturday 20th April at midnight. You MUST read the information and terms document BEFORE applying.
All applicants will be emailed twice: once to confirm their application was received, and once more on Sunday 21st April to confirm if they were successful or not. The four shortlisted candidates will be sent all required information.
