SUSO, an entirely student-run and student-funded symphony orchestra, comprises the most talented musicians at the University of Southampton – across all degree programmes – and performs a wide-ranging repertoire of large-scale orchestral works to a high standard. SUSO rehearse every Wednesday during term-time from 7. 00pm-10. 00pm and holds four concerts each year

Southampton University Symphony Orchestra operates a fundraising/sponsorship scheme called the "Friends Scheme".
This is an opportunity for parents, friends and supporters of the orchestra to receive benefits such as:... - Free concert tickets - Priority booking - Free programmes - Free raffle tickets - Recognition for sponsoring a chosen seat in the orchestra and acknowledgement in programme ...and more!

Southampton University Symphony Orchestra is widely recognised as one of the leading student orchestras in the UK. SUSO are proud to present their first concert of the academic year. This concert's music is a challenging, all-british affair, starring the timeless decorum and emotion of Elgar's Symphony no. 2.
Tickets are £12 for Adults, £10 for concessions and £5 for students. In light of the patriotic theme, there will also be a voluntary retiring collection in aid of the R...oyal British Legion. All proceeds from the programme sales will also be dontated to this cause.
